The warm sun beams through the window, warming my bare back. I smile, hugging Nathan tighter. My heart flutters as I feel Nathan hug me back, a deep groan sounding in his throat.
"Mornin'," he moans in his sexy morning voice, making my smile widen.
"Morning," I sigh, snuggling closer to him. "How'd you sleep?"
"Mm, good," he answers, kissing my forehead.
"That's good. I did too," I lean up to peck his amazing lips.
Nathan moves his hands to rest on my hips, holding me up so he can look into my eyes. He still has that sleepy look, his squinty eyes and messy hair. "Do you know how cute you are in the morning?" he smirks, rubbing his nose against mine.
I giggle, kissing him again. "Speak for yourself, you think you can look sleepy all the time?"
"What do you mean?" he asks, turning to his side. I prop yourself up on my elbow, playing with his hair.
"Your messy hair. It's so cute!"
Nathan arches an eyebrow, leaning in closer to me. I play with the hair on the nape of his neck as his hands softly graze my waist. "I think you're sexy in the morning. You're naked, for one, your hair is messy, and well, you're laying beside me."
Nathan stares at me as he laces our fingers together, holding our hands above us.
I roll so my back faces him, feeling his chest press up against it. He plants a kiss between my shoulder blades. "God I love you. I love you so much."
"I love you too baby," I giggle, his nose tickling my neck.
"Oh? Are you ticklish?" he props himself up on his elbow, arching his eyebrow.
"No," I stutter, rolling away from Nathan, but it's too late. Nathan grabs my hips, pulling them to his, his chest pressing against my bare back. He tickles my waist, making me kick the sheets. We both get tangled in them as we laugh. Nathan rolls on top of me, ticking me some more. "Nathan! Nathan! Please stop please!" I laugh, pushing against his chest.
Nathan straddles me, pinning my hands down on either side of my face. "Okay, I'm done," he gasps, out of breath from laughing at me.
"Thank you," I laugh, kissing him before sneaking out from underneath him, stealing the sheet. I look back at him, laying on the bed in just his boxers, his jaw dropped.
"You stole the sheet!" he gasps.
"Yes, whatcha gonna do about it?" I laugh, wrapping the sheet around my body.
I crouch down to grab my leggings and my sweater, slipping them on before jumping back to Nathan, landing in his lap. "You're such a goof," he laughs, kissing my lips again.
"Speak for yourself," I snorted. He pushes me off of him, quickly changing into jeans and a long sleeved shirt. He puts the cross necklace I bought him around his neck, then pushes up the sleeves of his shirt to his elbows. He walks to his bathroom, me following after him. I lean against the door frame as he fixes his hair, passing glances in my direction.
"What?" he asks as he spikes his hair.
I wrap my arms around his waist from behind, standing on my tippy toes to rest my chin on his shoulder. "Nothing," I sigh, watching as he chuckles, finishing up with his hair. He turn around, pressing his forehead against mine. He let's out a sad sounding sigh, but when I ask him what's wrong, he remains silent.
We walk down the stairs, hand in hand, joining Nathan's family downstairs.
"Hi kids," says Karen, stirring up some eggs in a pan.
"Hi," we both greet.
"Hey, Jess, can I talk to you?" Nathan walks up to his sister, nodding his head to the backyard. They both walk outside to the garden, turning their bodies towards each other. By the looks of it, Nathan look sad, and Jess is consulting him.
"Honey, do you mind helping me?" Karen's voice brings my eyes away from Nathan and Jess to her.
"Sure, what do you need?"
"Just butter some toast and cut some cheese please dear."
I do as she says, but I can't stop thinking about why Nathan is acting so weird this morning. He's normal so cheery, what's going on?
By the time breakfast is ready, Nathan and Jess walk back in. Jess gives me a nod and a slight smile before grabbing her plate and sitting beside her mother at the table.
"Everything okay?" I ask, hugging Nathan.
"Yeah," he sighs, sounding very much like a lie. We grab our plates, having probably the quietest breakfast of all time.
I toss my plate in the sink, feeling someone rest their hands on my shoulders from behind. "Can I talk to you for a second?"
Uh oh...when your boyfriend says "can we talk", it's almost always bad news. I give him a slight nod, letting him pull me to his bedroom. He closes the door, locking it and turning to face me, who probably has fear all over my face right now.
Nathan walks up to me, hugging me tightly. He doesn't say a word, he just hugs me. When he pulls away, his eyes sparkle with tears, and his mouth is in a frown.
"Hey what's wrong baby?" I worry, wiping his tears away with my thumbs.
Nathan takes my hands in his, looking down at them. "Last night, when you fell asleep, Nano called. He told me that the tour is going to be a guys thing, since the break and everything. They want us to work things out...without our girlfriends..."
My eyes widen, my heart drops. We're not allowed to go on tour to support our boys?
"Nathan..." I sigh, pulling him in for a hug, "are you sure?" What a stupid question.
"Yeah I'm sure..he called and his exact words were "so um, you guys need to focus on each other, so no girls allowed,'" he mocks Nano's accent.
"I'm sure if they wouldn't make you do something that wouldn't be the best way for things," I soothe, but deep down inside, I'm breaking.
More than half the year without Nathan...that's going to suck. I know it's his job, and I sound like a clingy girlfriend, but I'll miss him. There's no way I can handle ten months that he's gone...that's too long.
One of the best days of my life turned into a nightmare in approximately three minutes...
