So Beatrice had set off to find Wirt. The only thing was, she didn't know where to look. She wondered if it was a good idea to call his name but decided not to, she wanted to watch him first. See what he does.
The woods seemed different to Beatrice. It felt more ominous and seemed to radiate a extra depressing aura, and Beatrice didn't like it.
She walked through the woods and started humming a song to try to break the tension.
Suddenly she heard someone humming along to her song. "Who's there?" Beatrice said startled looking in all directions. There was nobody there. She began to sing a little trying to see if the voice would respond. "I could open my eyes" she began to sing. A voice in the distance lightly sang "as I say my goodbyes"

Beatrice moved closer towards the voice cautiously. "When I see your eyes."

"We're in the night skies"

She got even closer.

"The stars seem to shine on us tonight.

"The colors seem to fade"

"As you take my breath away" she finished as she stood right behind the person singing, it was the person she was looking for, Wirt. But he was different he was menacing and ominous, he had antlers sprouting out of the sides of his head and his eyes had a glossy glow. She backed away to hide but it was too late, he turned around and saw her.

"Wirt?" She said cautiously.

He didn't respond. He just stared at her blankly.

"Wirt." She said as she went to grab his hand. She felt a cold tinge to it and she jerked her hand away.
Everything went dark.
His eyes began to glow brighter. Beatrice backed away In fear. "Wirt!?"
"I am The Beast." He sent a shiver down  Beatrice's spine.
"I want my friend back! His brother needs him!"
"This is not your problem foolish girl, you don't know what you are dealing with."
"My friend MY PROBLEM." She yelled.
"Hmm well, when you put it that way, it will be your problem." He said.
Roots started to tangle around Beatrice's legs and tearing apart her dress. She cried out for help.
"WIRT I KNOW YOUR IN THERE HELP ME."
She said as the roots grabbed at her waist.
