How could the first year of high school be so great, yet miserable?

My name is Lily Rosetta Keer. My first name comes from the flower, lily of the valley. I'm supposed to be all delicate and beautiful. Now stop for a minute. Think of the opposite of that. That's the real me.
I play club softball and my grades are... average. I have thin brown hair, which is always dry, and hazel-grey eyes, as well as long eyelashes and high cheekbones. I'm basically the average teen. I'm a 14 year old living her life in Colorado.
There is one thing about me that is different though. I have always loved to read and write. You've probably already figured that out though, because you're readying this right now. I guess I'm just going to write about school and life and whatever else is going on.
