Chapter 6 - No One Wants To See Your Jewels Bouncing Like Tennis Balls.

Edited.

"You have a crush?!" Alexis squeals hugging me as she jumps up and down. As she's hugging me and jumping around, I'm also bouncing up and down like a ping pong ball along with her.

"Ah," I groan as I try to push her away, "Alexis! You're making me nauseas!"

She reluctantly steps away but doesn't stop her jumping. Sam sighs looking at her hopelessly, "Please wear a bra when you're jumping around like that. No one wants to see your jewels bouncing like tennis balls."

Alexis glares at her as she flips down onto her bed. "Who bloody asked you to look?"

"Its kinda hard to ignore."

We're currently having a sleepover at Alexis' house. Ever since I arrived in junior year, it has been a tradition of ours to have a sleepover every week on Wednesday--I have no idea why we chose a school night--taking turns at each others house. Though, we had never been to Sam's house. At first, whenever we wanted to go she'd always find some way to distract the conversation or tell us that her house was under construction. Not realising how a house can be under construction two years in a row.

Eventually we dropped the topic and settled to having sleepovers in only Alexis', Chloe's and my house.

Alexis' sighs sadly as she pops a candy in her mouth. "Such a shame Chloe couldn't come."

"I think she got lucky," Sam says rolling her eyes at the movie we are watching. "I mean, who the hell would want to watch The Notebook? Fucking cheese makes me so nauseous!"

Alexis and I gasp extra dramatically. "How dare you!"

"Oh yes bitch." Sam stands up putting her hands on her hip. "I so went there."

Alexis gasps as she also stands up. "Do you have any idea who you are talking to?" Then she flips her hair over her shoulder and flicks her nose acting like the typical high school cheerleader and speaks in a high pitched voice, "I could ruin your life in the snap of my fingers! So bow down and lick my legs. Cause that's what you just are to someone high and mighty as me! The foot licker!"

We burst into laughter and plop down on the floor together where a makeshift bed is made by blankets and cushions.

With Sam grumbling about lovers, love and how she hated Mason--How does those three get mixed together?-- and Alexis' sighing gleefully and occasionally crying, I slowly drift into sleep.

----------------------------------------------------

"Hurry up! Hurry the hell up bitches! We're half an hour late for school!" I jolt awake by Alexis' screaming and my eyes widen when they fall on the clock.

Oh, shit.

"Fuck fuck fuck!" Sam yells as she jumps around the room trying to fit into her jeans. Halfway through it, she realizes it's actually a shirt that's around her ankles and another strings of curse rolls out of her mouth.

Alexis is in no better state either. She's frantically applying makeup and trying to get herself shoved in a too tight skirt at the same time. I seriously advise you against it because she almost pokes her eye out with the mascara.

And me?

I jump up and almost fly into the bathroom. I take the shortest shower of my life and throw a pair of baggy jeans and tee shirt and run out. But now, I see Sam with her jeans around her head--apparently she mistook it for her shirt this time--and Alexis applying mascara on her lips. Apparently she mistook it as her lipstick.
