The beast listened to the heavy breathing of his kin, leathery wings outstretched behind him as a show of dominance. A wave of beasts below him-- 200 now-- arched their backs in response to one's bellowing. Until they were all roaring to the skies like wolves. Iron claws protruded from the fists of many-- all pointed skywards as their leader turned his back to them, watching an empty lot of land. Venus. Where many had once resided centuries ago. His large, abyssal black hands reached out-- and his wings tucked tightly behind his back. He reached out ceremoniously, and maelstrom of blood and chaos all spiraled together, merging as one orb of insanity-- twitching and screaming, with the memories of the discord.

"I call upon the chaotic maelstrom, the incomprehensible insanity.." His deep, otherworldly voice began, the rumble in his chest responding to the forbidden power manifesting before him. At the beginning of his speech, the manifestation flickered with unstable energy, tasting the air--stealing the air and life in it's wake.

"Bring to me, my brothers from billions of millennia ago.." He lifted his arms higher, feeling his wings at his back shift with fear, and his body tighten as a ghost of energy seeped into his skin. But he held his arms up-- knowing that if he let go, chaos would break loose. Ribbons of gold twisted with a blood red one-- then silver, deep violet, and a black that gobbled up all light surrounding it. It seemed to be nonexistent, a nothing within all of that power. But he knew it was the most powerful form of chaos, disguised as a void.

Ask nicely. A horrid, inhuman and ethereal voice cooed. It was ancient, knowing all. Knowing past and present and future and every little secret each plane of existence had to offer.

The beast almost scoffed, but nonetheless, he growled, "Please?"

The chaotic manifestation instantly was coated with a thick layer of invisible adamant, being drawn towards the beast like a peasant to its King. It was fast-- fast like the mind of somebody who lost their own. So insanely fast that the beast thought he'd stagger when it threw itself into its hands, and held tightly onto the smooth orb of chaos. Who would have known such a term could be wielded? He couldn't help but stare into it for a little longer, the lingering gaze of others on his tongue. Like the orb made him taste it, and taste their impatience. He felt insignificant compared to this orb, but smiled wildly at it with poisoned teeth.

Until suddenly, out of the darkness of their distraction, the sound of gunshots alerted him, and he guarded the orb with leathery skin.

"Who dares interrupt?" He roared, his body tightening-- growing bigger at the sound of a threat. It was an instinct, one could assume-- as they all stretched out their leathery skin to become larger and stronger. Preparing for a fight. The crowd below him bellowed with impatience, turning their backs to their leader as they all watched in the direction of the gunshot.
