Rose's Fairytale Happily Ever After

Nightmares part 2

Hawk Pov

Hawk was sitting on a chair next to Rose's bed when all of a sudden he hears her scream in her sleep. "Rose wake up, it's me Hawk, I'm here for you." Scared by her own nightmare Rose wakes up. She looks around and sees Hawk is there next to her. 'What is going on' she thought. Hawk sees that she is awake and runs to her side and sits on her bed. He holds her close to him comforting her. When he sees that she has a confused look on her face, he explains everything to her. "Rose you saved me again and now your under a powerful nightmare curse. Your grandma sent the other teachers here to find a solution" he says. Rose listens to him and realizes that's why she woke up so scared. The rest of the group and the teacher's had made their way to Rose's room. "She's awake" they all say in shock. Hawk believes that the curse is not yet over with. He tells Rose to lay down and walks out her door with everyone else.

Normal Pov

Hawk gathers everyone in the living room to discuss about Rose. He tells them that he believes that the curse is not over with. Astoria whispers to him that he should tell the teacher's about Malvie. Afraid of what the teacher's might say, he agrees and tells them all that has been happening this week. As he is explaining to them how he has been protecting Rose all week, Cinderella silently thinks 'He must be Rose's prince charming'. Cinderella is about to call the meeting to an end when another horrifying scream is heard from Rose's room. She is screaming Hawk's name. Hawk runs to her room afraid that she is being attacked again. 

Rose Pov

I had another nightmare but when I woke up, Hawk wasn't there. I see smoke coming from my floor. 'Is my room on fire?!' She looks around to see no flames but something is crawling towards her. Gigi pops out of her bed to investigate. He discovers a small dragon heading towards Rose! Gigi crawls up to her as fast as he can to warn her but he was too late. The dragon had bit her hand and was about to leave the room when the door was thrown open. Hawk runs in to see that Rose's hand was bleeding and sees that a small dragon was escaping the window. "Not you again, snow magic!" The window is frozen solid and the dragon can't escape. Thinking that it could get past Hawk, the dragon runs towards the door. Travis was already there and caught the dragon before it could escape. 

Hawk Pov

Seeing that the dragon was caught by Travis, Hawk turns his attention back at Rose only to find her unconscious and her hand bleeding. He asks Cinderella for the first aid kit and bandages Rose's hand. The group and the teacher's take the dragon downstairs while Hawk and Cinderella examine Rose for any other injures. While checking Rose's head, her grandma gasps. "What's wrong?" "She has a dangerous fever. If we don't do something to cool her forehead soon, she may be in grave danger" she tells Hawk. Hawk quickly summons his wand and uses his snow magic to create an ice pack for her head. Wrapping it in a cloth so that it wouldn't be too cold, he places it on her head. Cinderella leaves Hawk in charge and tells him to inform her of any changes. 'Rose, I promise to break this curse and take you to the ball that you deserve after everything we've been through this week'. Gigi and Hawk's owl sit quietly on Rose's night stand. 

Malvie Pov

While still using her invisibility spell, Malvie sees that Rose has been waking up but her curse isn't broken. That's when she decided to try to use her dragon magic to get the small dragon inside Rose's room. The dragon was given another task, but this time it succeeds. 'Hahaha' she silently thinks. "They will never be able to break this spell, not even Hawk can save her." Little did she know that Hawk and everyone else were coming up with ways to break the curse. They were determined to break it before the night of the ball. Having the small dragon in their hands was a huge advantage to them. Caught up in her evil ways, Malvie hadn't noticed that her dragon didn't escape the room. 

Normal Pov

Downstairs in the living room, Cinderella updated everyone on Rose's condition. She explained that she left Hawk in charge and he is to tell her of any changes. Snow White looked at her with sad eyes. If Rose hadn't have jumped into the spell, then her grandson would have been the one going through this. "Cinderella, if there's anything I can do please let me know. Rose saved Hawk from this fate and I know you would do the same." She nods her head in agreement and talks to Snow White about their grandchildren being in love. Travis has the small dragon that bit Rose in a small cage. The group looks at it and is amazed by what Malvie is able to do with her magic to create anything. Professor Beast and professor Lefrog take a look at it. They determine that the bite on Rose's hand is what caused the dangerous fever. Hawk has sent Gigi downstairs to update Cinderella about Rose. Since she was Cinderella, she understood what Gigi was saying. There was no major changes in her but the fever was still very high and Hawk was doing everything he could to comfort her and hopefully bring her fever down with his snow magic.

Will the curse be broken before the ball?  Will the teacher's find a solution to help Rose? And will Malvie finally make herself appear or will she finally come out of hiding acting all innocent? Stay tuned and sorry for the suspense but I find it helps give the reader a reason to get excited about the next part. At least that's what happens when I read books or see shows that leave me hanging and excitingly waiting for the next part. Lol. Enjoy this chapter.
