Rose's Fairytale Happily Ever After

It's the night of the ball! part 2

Normal Pov

The ball was about to begin and everyone was excited for a night of fun. Although Astoria was worried about her grades, she was confident that Hawk and Rose would get them a good grade. Knowing that they were an official couple made Rose's group feel that nothing could go wrong tonight. The curse had been lifted from Rose and there was nothing to worry about. Everyone kept a close eye on Malvie and Vicky. What they didn't know was they had a very wicked plan up their sleeves that no one saw coming. The music starts to play and everyone starts to dance.

Hawk Pov

I hear the music start and take Rose by the hand to the dance floor. We start to dance and I was amazed by Rose's beauty tonight. 'She looks like the perfect princess' I think to myself. Although I knew that she loved me and that we were each others true love, I was still shy around her. As we were dancing, I notice all of my fan girls are giving Rose an angry look. They wouldn't be happy when they find out about us being a couple. "Hawk, your a really good dancer" said Rose. "Thank you, so are you" I say back to her. She blushes as I say that and I pull her close. Our grandma's were looking at us with tears of joy in their eyes. I couldn't wait to surprise Rose with the necklace my grandma had made for her. We decide to take a break and check in with our friends to see how their night was going.

Astoria Pov

Rose and Hawk start to head over to me and the rest of our group. I was so proud of them finally confessing their feelings for one another. Headmistress Cinderella and Hawk's grandma seem to be pleased with them as much as I was. "You guys are amazing together!" I said to them. They thank me and ask the rest of us about our night. Joy and Travis tell them how their night has been ok. My night has been ok to, well I was more focused on the grades but Joy had pushed me towards a fellow student to dance with. I admit it was fun, but I wasn't as good as Rose and Hawk. Rose tells us that she will be right back and heads to the drink table.

Malvie Pov

Vicky elbows me in the side and is pointing at Rose. "Who does she think she is stealing the spotlight from others?" she said. I agree that most of everyone's attention was on Rose and her date. I notice that she is heading towards the drink table and I make myself head that way as well. "Part 1 of the plan will start now" I whisper to Vicky as I'm leaving. Vicky heads over to Hawk's group to distract them. I point my wand at the cup in Rose's hands and cast a small spell. It wasn't anything big because I had a lot more in store for her and Hawk. She takes a sip from the punch in her cup and put's it back down on the table. "I don't feel so good" I heard her say before she faints and falls to the floor. 'Here's my chance, I better make it quick' and I head over to the unconscious Rose before anyone could see her. Hiding under the cloak I had brought with me, I take Rose outside and send Vicky the signal to tell her that part 1 was a success.

Hawk Pov

Rose was taking a long time to come back from the drink table. I was about to go look for her when someone grabbed my hand and yanked me away. "Vicky, what are you doing" I ask as I turn around to see who was pulling on my hand. "I just want one dance Hawk" she said to me. Hawk had a feeling that something wasn't right but he agreed to just one dance. 'I will look for Rose afterwards'. He dances to one song with Vicky and tells her that he has to go do something. I head over to the group and ask them if they had seen Rose. "No we haven't" Travis tells me and my heart sinks. I have an awful feeling that Malvie has done something. We decide to split up to try to find Rose.

Rose Pov

I slowly open my eyes to see that I'm outside of the ball, "What's going on?" That's when I hear an evil laugh. "You!" It was Malvie and she was sitting on a bench in front of me. "What do you want?" I ask her. " I want you to feel the pain I do!" she says. I don't like the look in her eyes, she is up to something. Rose decides that she needs to get the attention of the others from inside the ballroom. "Hawk" I scream as loud as I can. All of a sudden, my mouth is covered from something that Malvie had conjured up. "It's no good, he can't hear you. Hahahahahaha." Afraid of what she might do to me, I fall on my knees and start to cry. 'Hawk, please find me' I silently think to myself. Thinking that Malvie had finally won I hear my name. "Rose!" It was Hawk! Hawk runs to my side and rips off the tape that was on my mouth. "Hawk, you saved me again." "I will always save you Rose. Your my true love and it is my job to protect you." I blush at hearing him say that. Hawk and I summon our wands and prepare to fight off Malvie.

Travis Pov

Me and the girls were watching Vicky and saw that she was up to no good. We summon our wands and prepare ourselves to fight her. "Fury magic!" A strong wind carry's Vicky outside of the ballroom and we follow her. "It was all Malvie's idea, why don't you go fight her?" Vicki tries to make us believe that Malvie was the one who we should be after. As I'm about to summon my magic again, I look over to see that Rose and Hawk were fighting Malvie. Astoria and Joy see the same thing and our battle with Vicky continues.

Hawk Pov

As I was fighting off Malvie, I see Travis, Joy, and Astoria are battling Vicky. 'They can hold her off' I think to myself. Right now I got to protect Rose and defeat Malvie once and for all. "Snow magic" A ball of snow and ice come out of my wand and is headed towards Malvie. "Snow magic" I hear her say and all of a sudden, ice comes at me and I'm frozen in place. Rose is shocked to see that Malvie was able to create snow magic as well. An icicle hits my left side and I start to bleed. "Hawk!" said Rose as her face was full of tears and sadness. It was all up to her as I tried to free myself of Malvie's magic.
