A small girl stands at her window, holding a book in her arms. Opening the window, she calls out, "I believe!" At first, nothing happens. Then, the wind starts blowing harder, and a Shadow comes in. "Take me to Neverland," her childish voice says. The Shadow had looked around the room, and then looked at her. It shook it's transparent head, and flew out the window, leaving a teary-eyed girl behind him. Every night that little girl went up to her window, and called out the words "I believe!" But the Shadow never came back to her window. When she told her mother about the Shadow, her mother told her that it was a dream. She told her to forget it. But she never did. Even years later, she knew it was real. Even though she always told everyone that it was a dream, she knew. She knew that the Shadow was very real. Rebecca never stopped believing
