"Run!! Go! Now!!" I yelled looking right at Scarlet. She was beautiful but Lexiey would kill me if she knew that I felt like this. She thought that we all had to follow her and do what she says. I hated Lexiey she could go to hell for all I cared.
Scarlet didn't know how I felt, I mean she has only known of me for not even an hour, but, I've been watching her since she was little. I was assigned to her when I was 12, now 18. Scarlet and almost all her friends were 17ish. Most of them.
I had to save her. I knew what Lexiey was planning, I didn't care less about her friends it was her. I needed her more than anything.
She looked at me her eyes wide. She looked scared, I wanted to help. God did I wanted to help her. It was wrong, I was told to kill her. But inside I was told to love her and keep her safe. She needed me she just didn't know it yet.
If I told her to leave, how would I find her?? I told myself 'Shut up you found her once you can do it again, after all she is yours.'
Her friends long gone she sat there unmoving.
"Scarlet, you have to go now before Lexiey comes back. It isn't safe her for you anymore." I placed a hand on her shoulder. She jumped at my presence. "Please understand I'm not going to hurt you, I just want to help. I- I lov-" I stopped myself right there.
"The hell you mean you love me?? You just meet me today?!" She stood pushing my hand off her like I was infected.
"Well- They others and I were assigned to someone once you are 12. You were assigned to me. I have been watching you. I have been sent to kill you. But- But I can't. You need to go! She'll kill me you'll be fine, please go." I spun her around and pushed her out the door.
She looked at me and waved good-bye and mouthed Thank you, please find me soon.
Ugh!! What the hell did I do?? I was told to kill her and I told her everything.
