"Yes Madam. What else would you like us to do?" a tall dark looking man said, like she was his master or something.
"Just keep them alive, they are worth a lot as of right now, but, if they got a little scratch whos to say it wasn't from us?" she laughed a hard sharp laugh.
She looked at us like dogs. I wanted to run over to her and smack her, but, I knew I had to stop myself. I started to walk over to her, just to talk to her...promise. But something stopped me before I could. Wrapped around me, pulling me, like a tight hug from that aunt you never liked. I did not like this one bit. I hated the feeling. I looked around at all my friends and they too, stuck. Vee thrashed, fighting them.
They all were. Everyone, everyone but....but Alice.
"Alice!! What the hell are you doing? Help us!!" Brennon yelled at her.
She made that face like Rory did just minutes ago. She shook her head back and forth. "Haha. Me? Help you? What the hell did you ever do for me? NOTHING. You are all selfish assholes. Why in the hell would I help you? Rory here is my sister, who has done lots for me. I should help her...."
Her face changed. It wasn't the sweet Alice we knew. She suddenly rose, like she was on a wire, bringing her up. She flung her arms out like she was on a cross. She looked at Vee with sad eyes, "Ah!" Vee yelped.
Next thing I knew the thing wrapped around us was tightening, squeezing with everything. What the hell was it? Whatever it was it was coming from Alice. What the hell was she? What did she want? I thought we were kind to her and for her.
The other man, not the dark one but this one had white hair and green glowing eyes. "Your family hurt their family. They want payback. Its only fair, I'm sorry. I'm Ceal and he is-" he pointed at the dark man, "Is Keith. also known as Ken. She," pointed at Rory, "Is Lexiey."
He looked at us sadly. He mumbled something and Ro- Lexiey and she nodded. "I don't care. I think I'm done here." she spoke swiftly.
Keith and Lexiey walked out slowly and Ceal stayed with out anyone but us. Alice followed Lexiey.
