*UNEDITED CHAPTER*

My index finger and thumb slowly moved from my temple, my arm resting on the strap of my backpack. I took a breath to calm myself. 'What is he doing here?'

"Uhm... Can I help you?" I asked him coldly after some thought. My mood had instantly changed from nutella and waffles to cold oros during winter. Okay. I should probably stop being so cold.

"I'm sorry. I came to check on you, figured you weren't doing so well..." he trailed of, his hand going through his hair in frustration? Idk. My RBF makes people run tho, can't say I'm not cold so I respect his guts.

"I don't understand why you want to be in my life..." I trailed off, stopping when I caught his gaze, slightly faltering in my paragraph as to why he shouldn't want to be in my life. Thank God for those eyes, I probably would've exposed myself. I cleared my throat, "I'll see you at school." I finish of rather coldly and walk towards my car. The butterflies in the pit of my stomach were wild as I felt his gaze over me as I walked.

Confetti and Cupcakes!

I reversed out of the driveway and sped up the road, leaving him standing alone in front of my house. I let Tellaman's Lucid Dream blast through my speakers throughout the ride. I felt less than relieved when I go to school tho. School was basically, literally just a court room. People will judge your hair, your eyebrows, your clothes, your toes, even the flipping size of the zit on your cheek! Give me a break. I don't remember a time when I ever like school. I was bullied most of the time so what is there to like? Nothing was ever weird about me, people just chose me to pick on I guess. I was the normal kid, pigtails, barbie clothes, Lord knows I loved pink. Who knew I would turn into this "Emo ass bitch", so they say.

I did manage to make it through the day well tho, of course excluding the judging stares from about 894 students and the whispers that didn't bother me anymore as time went by. Lord knows how judged I was when I, a newbie, started hanging out with the school's hottest, coolest and to me, most disgusting boys. I met Ryan first, he pretty much saved my ass the first time we met and he was pretty much my best friend. Then I met Devlin, Hunter and Ryder.

I slammed my locker shut and glared at the girl on the other side of it. Kimberely Jones. The girl who makes my life a living hell. Kimberely wasn't the most pleasant face around. I believe the girl just has problems in life, that's my excuse for her. She wasn't filthy rich either. Just a snotty teenager with problems. I'm pretty sure she's here on scholarship anyway. Mind you, we weren't friends, ever, she just chose me. To pick on.
Don't get me wrong tho, I'm not saying that bullies always need a reason to bully others. Or that they should have something that others don't have to be able to bully others.

"You know, bitching around won't get you anywhere," she sneered at me, her eyes longing for a fight that I clearly didn't need in my life.

"You're one to talk, Kimberely Jones." I answered her back.
She smirked at me, "Well then catch up bitch," she snarled before strutting her "stuff" leaving me rolling my eyes as I continued to pack my books into my locker when I heard a body slam onto the floor, accompanied by a shrill scream. My head snapped to follow the sound, where Ryan stood over Kimberly's body slouched on the floor after what I believe as Ryan body slamming her. I snorted, slowly starting to laugh at the scene until I was bent over and my stomach hurt. The look on her face was precious as Ryan held his thumbs up proudly with a sly smirk.
"And that my dearest friend, is the reason why we are the best of friends," I said as he walked up to me, a naughty smile playing his lips.
"Shall we?" He asked and looped his arm through mine.
"Yes we shall, best friend."
We walked to my car, baby I meant, and he waited as I unlocked it.
"Where's your car Ryan?"
"I walked into school today." He replied without any emotion and refused to catch my eye.
"Your dad is back." I said softly and he nodded.
Ryan's dad was a terrible person tbh. He was real big in the business world, owning 3 companies, 1 which he inherited from his dad, another which he built up and the last one he ran with his wife. He had this perfect aura around him when you first meet him or to people who don't know him but as soon as you find out all he had done to his family, you might be relatively close to hating him.
"Let's go." I said calmly. You never pity Ryan. He'll trip. He'll flip. Just like I had done with my sister. We were very much alike.
I sat in my car and buckled my seat belt while waiting for him to compose himself, he was leaning on my car, his head on the roof as he took a while to compose himself. I connected my phone via bluetooth and resumed the Tellaman album that had been playing just as he entered the car. I took his hand in mine and held it tightly for just over 4 seconds in attempt to comfort him and he showed me a small smile in return.
We drove in silence, Tellaman was the sound in the car, with me occasionally glancing over at him but he never noticed. His eyes absentmindedly following the scenery out the window. Stopping at the traffic lights, I cleared my throat and spoke up, "Junk food and crash?"
He turned to look at me, seemingly deep in thought before his eyes lit up, "Fuck it. Let's do this!" He exclaimed and unbuckled his seat belt and attempted to open the door. It was locked. We were stuck in traffic. He stared at the door before hitting it with the palm of his hand. "Ok, that didn't work out as planned," he said and started chuckling to himself softly until he was eventually full out laughing.
I joined in the happy moment and our laughter slowly drowned out the music that was playing, "Well, at least I know what we're doing today," I smiled and he nodded.
