I let my the warm water run through my hair as I stood in the shower, I just got home with Ryan and Kendall and I'm pretty sure they had already started drinking which I think is pretty stupid. Why start drinking at 4pm and have a night of misery?
I finished my shower, dried my hair and went on to moisturise my skin. I opened my cupboard doors and the clothing articles stared back at me. I grunted and pulled out a black t-shirt dress to wear with my black Footwork heels in the Amanda du Pont collection. After putting on the dress, I sat down at my vanity and curled pulled my hair up into a puff, after laying down my edges, I put on some mascara, eyeliner, highlighter and topped it off with Avon's Superb Wine matte lipstick. Feeling satisfied with how I looked and the time that took, I took my David Jones' purse and put in 3 sticks of gum, the lipstick and my phone and walked out of my room.
I sat in front of the television, flipping through the channels for something to watch when Liam texted that he was outside. I buckled my shoes, shouted that I was leaving and walked out into the cool evening breeze."Hey, you look great," he scanned his eyes over my outfit.
I smiled, "Thanks, not too shabby yourself,"
He smiled a genuine smile and took my hand, "Shall we?"
I giggled and nodded as we started walking to the cab he had hired and he opened the door for me.
We drove in a comfortable silence, my hand fitting perfectly into his.
We stopped at a dainty little restaurant and he got out to get the door for me as I followed him in. I was silently thanking the gods that I stuck to basics in fashion as I swept my eyes through the black and white themed restaurant.
I followed Liam as the waiter led us to our table in a well lit corner before taking the orders for our drinks.
Noticing Liam was staring at me, I caught his eye. "You amaze me."
I was caught off guard and was silent for a while. He went on, "You're so calm and collected. I don't think you know that you're beautiful."
I nodded. "I'm working on believing that."
He frowned slightly but I didn't hold his gaze anymore. "Do you like it here?" He got the sign.
"Its beautiful," I replied honestly.
"I thought it'd suite your style."
I smiled, "You seem to know me well then, huh?"
His shy smile exposed him before he opened and closed his mouth as if scared of what he would say.
I opened my menu and scanned it. "Can I recommend something?" His voice came silky and more confident than before.
"Sure."
He took the menu from my hand and the waiter showed up with our drinks, passion fruit for me and a lemonade for him.
I watched as he spoke to the waiter in a hushed tone as he ordered for both of us, his blue eyes were sparkling and he looked completely happy in that moment. He caught me staring and held my gaze, still speaking to the waiter.
"You're going to love it," he reported back to me after the waiter had left.
"I don't doubt that, one bit."
I was a sucker for guys who held my gaze and usually I got extremely nervous but it wasn't the same with him. He made me feel comfortable. Content... or is it too early to judge?I loved what he had ordered for me. There were times when we spoke and others were filled with a comfortable silence, it lasted eternities but that's what made it so comfortable.
We left the restaurant at 7pm and I got home before 8. He walked me to the door and talked to Ryan a bit, who we found sitting at the island in the kitchen with a mug of hot chocolate.
He didn't kiss me. He simply pecked my cheek and even then, I saw the look of absolute satisfaction in his eyes.
