"Hey, could you boys come help me with something?"
I could see Adrian snickering quietly as he nodded, his eyes alight with amusement. Darren looked scared out of his pants and I couldn't help but send him a smirk as I stood, waiting for the rest of the boys to get up. Adrian was struggling not to laugh, as he wiped his hands onto his trouser leg, and Brian seemed to be the same, his face red from holding it in. Augustus got up last, grunting at me as he walked past me towards the trees.
"What's his problem?" I whispered to Adrian and he shrugged in response, a comical look still on his face, and followed Augustus. I rolled my eyes and followed him, with Brian following me. I even thought I heard Darren make a noise in his throat that sounded like a kitten crying as we left. I couldn't help but grin at that, he sounded so helpless and as if he was begging for mercy. Exactly what I wanted.
Adrian and Brian burst out laughing as soon as we were a safe distance from the two, immediately collapsing onto the moist forest floor with red faces. It looked as if they were going to just burst, like a pimple that had too much enthusiasm. I chuckled lightly at that thought, just imagining Adrian's face as a pimple.
"Th- that was-" Brian started, before collapsing back onto the floor from laughter. I raised my eyebrow at him, and noticed that Adrian was struggling to stop the tears rolling down his cheeks, holding his stomach as if in pain. It was amusing, but the snorting coming from Brian was starting to annoy me.
"Brilliant, I know" I finished his sentence cockily.
A minute later, both boys had stopped laughing and lifted themselves up, a hint of laughter still dwelling in their eyes. Adrian once again wiped his hands on his trousers, and ran a hand through his crazy hair before beaming at me.
"That was epic" he declared, winking.
"Totally!" Brian half-shouted, and I almost winced at the sudden noise. He was starting to irk me, with his random shouts and weird attitude. Adrian high-fived him before turning back to me.
"So... what now?" He asked, still radiating laughter, "Darren's sure gonna be peeved"
"Good" I replied to his statement. I wanted him to be peeved. I mean, I could only return the favour of being so annoying, right?
"Do any of you have your mobiles?"
"Yeah" Adrian replied to me, pulling out his blackberry from his pocket and handing it over, "here. Why, though?"
"Because we're going to film him" I answered plainly, and Adrian guffawed at me. I smirked, before going onto the camera. This was going to be fun, I couldn't wait to post this on every social media site that was available to me.
"Okay, where's the fire?" I asked, raising an eyebrow questioningly. Adrian and Brian looked a each other, eyes suddenly wide. I did a mental face-palm. They hadn't even been watching where we were going, these guys were idiots. As idiotic as monkeys themselves. I held back a glare, but I was sure my face still had a sign of anger.
"You guys weren't even paying attention?" I said, more as a statement than a question. Adrian shrugged and looked at me apologetically, while Brian just stood there. I rolled my eyes at them and groaned.
"You weren't either" Augustus spoke up. I'd forgotten he was even there, seeing as he hadn't spoken throughout our whole conversation. I raised my eyebrows at him, annoyed at his comment. What was his problem, accusing me of things that didn't apply to me?
"Not my fault. This is my first day, I dont even know my way around here yet" I stated, before glaring at him, "don't accuse me, when you don't even know"
