I walked in my house to find my mom with a couple neighbors that I had met. I find August. His eyes are the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I could get lost in them. Everything about him is gorgeous.
I stare but I thought to myself, "He wouldn't like me."
I walked to the living room which is about 30 steps from the room they're in, the dining room.
My mom walked in and told me that they were staying for dinner.
I accepted and turned on the television. He walked in and sat next to me, dead silence.
It was quiet for a couple minutes until he turned to me and said, "I'm sorry I barely said anything to you earlier, I just though you were really pretty."
I started to blush and I think he could tell. He looked at me and smiled. I smiled back and got really embarrassed because I liked him too.
After a couple minutes of awkward reticent, I turned to him and finally said, I think you're pretty cute too.
We started talking and he said "You're so dang pretty, you're beautiful. You're really funny and sweet."
He kept complimenting me and talking about how amazing I am.
