I wake up around 10am. I get on a crop top, leggings and black tennis shoes I run out of the house on my way to the park so I can play basketball. I finally stopped thinking about August. I saw an empty hoop and started to play. Around my 30 minute mark, I feel a pair of hands around my waist. I turned around to see August. He hugged me and said that he had to tell me something. He pulled me off the court and I complied. We sat on a bench and he said, "My mother is deathly ill and we don't know why." My jaw dropped. He told me "If I don't get a place to stay, I won't be here for a couple months." I thought that it would be horrible to get so sick, so fast. I replied, "I can ask my mom if you can sleep in the guest room until your family can get back on their feet." He became so happy and said, "That would be so sweet and amazing of you." I quickly kissed him. We stood up to start walking to my house. I texted my mom to ask and she replied really fast.
"Yes."
I told August and he picked me up and spun me, he was ecstatic.
