I looked at him in his dreamy, blue eyes and said, "Stop saying things that make me want to kiss you." He looked at my and in a half second, he leaned in and kissed me. It was passionate and soft. I kissed back and when we stopped, I was a blushing mess. He smiled at me and I told him that, I liked him. He replied "I like you too Layne." His mom came in and said that they had to leave. I thought, "wow, perfect timing." I didn't want him to leave, I wanted him to stay. In those moments, I felt protection and felt genuine love, not the fake kind people show. He hugged me bye and said that he would come over tomorrow. As I walked upstairs, I kept thinking of our kiss, us, and him. I took off my converse and got in leggings and a t-shirt. I hopped in bed and turned on Netflix. I started watching Clueless and I don't exactly remember, but I think I fell asleep during that movie. I dreamed of him and our future. I was terrified that we wouldn't have a future together. I know I met him that day but, it was love at first sight.
