Hoseok gritted his teeth when he saw (y/n) smiling as she and Kihyun walked hand in hand. He didn't understand why she preferred him. Kihyun was a player and (y/n) knew it yet, she dated him anyways.
Hoseok knew that Kihyun was cheating on her but decided not to tell her about, not wanting to break her fragile heart.
"Hey Hoseok, did you know that Kihyun's having a party tonight." Changkyun said as he scrolled through his phone. "Wow, why am I not surprised." Hoseok says taking a bite of his sandwich. "We should go." Hoseok raises an eyebrow. "Why would we do that?" Changkyun chuckled. "Why wouldn't we."
"It'll be fun." Minhyuk adds with a smile. Hoseok sighs. "Why not."
the party
When the three boys arrive, music blasted so loud that they would probably hear it two neighborhoods down and cars were lined up all along the street. "Wahh, as expected from Yoo Kihyun." Hoseok, unimpressed, made his way into the house not wanting to stay outside any longer. While Changkyun admired the luxury brand cars parked.

Hoseok had finished drinking a can of beer, when he noticed Kihyun's overly gelled hair with a girl. He saw that it wasn't (y/n) as Kihyun bent down to kiss her. Hoseok was going to ignore it but he caught a glance of (y/n). She looked hurt and teary eyed.
At that moment Hoseok didn't hesitate as he made his way over to Kihyun. He tapped the younger boy on the shoulder. Kihyun turned around and his face came in contact with Hoseok's fist. Kihyun landed flat on his bottom, to busy being in pain to know who punched his flawless face.
Hoseok looked around and (y/n) was no where in sight. He quickly ran upstairs to search for her.
He almost gave up until he heard sobbing in one of the rooms. Hoseok sighed and slowly opened the door. "Who's there?" (y/n) sniffling. "It's me, Hoseok." He said as he made his way inside the room, closing the door behind him. (y/n) was sitting on the floor, holding her knees as tears fell down her cheeks.
Hoseok couldn't stand the reason behind her tears was that asshole, Yoo Kihyun. "(y/n).." "I kind of knew.. God, I'm so stupid." (y/n) wiped her face. "I knew that he was cheating, I just didn't want to believe it. I tricked myself into thinking that I just saw wrong and that he would never hurt me." tears streamed down (y/n)'s face again. "Why am I so fucking dumb."
Hoseok sat on the floor next to her. (y/n) looked at him with a frown on her face.
They stared at each other for a while until Hoseok leaned in a planted a kiss to her lips. (y/n) looked at Hoseok with clouded eyes as he pulled away. He caressed her face as she leaned into his hand.
"I won't ever let this happen again, if you'll let me." (y/n) thought for a moment before nodding her head slowly. Hoseok smiled and placed a kiss to her forehead, then helped her off the floor and wiped away her tears.
