"The exam scores have been released and are published in the main hallway. You can check them on the way out." The principal announced over the intercom. The bell then rang and students began barging out of classrooms.
Shan was some what relaxed as she made her way to the big poster, with the test scores on it. She squeezed through the crowd and scanned the poster, finding her name almost immediately. Her smile quickly faded when she saw a name above hers. "Woah, Minhyuk! You're number one!" One of his friends said patting his back. Shan glared at him, then turned on her heel and walked back to class.
Minhyuk noticed. "I'll be right back, you guys." He quickly ran and caught up with the upset girl. "Hey, Shan!" Minhyuk grabbed her arm. "Are you okay?" "What do you think? I'm not number one anymore." Minhyuk looked confused. "It's just a bunch of numbers, what's the big deal?" "You don't get it, all I have is my good grades, I can't lose those, too."
"What do you mean?" "Since when did you study?" Shan said changing the subject. "I learned this stuff already, I just didn't care." She rolled her eyes. "Don't get cocky, I'll pass you soon enough." With that she grabbed her backpack and brushed past him. Minhyuk chuckled.

The past month was aggravating to say the least. It seemed as if Minhyuk was taunting her. Whenever she saw him, he'd be hanging out, sleeping or playing with his friends. Currently she was in the library and at the table across from her, Minhyuk was seated. It was the first time she had seen him there, and it annoyed her.
Shan felt Minhyuk's eyes on her, so she glanced at him and he smiled. Tch. Her cheeks heated up. She placed a hand on her face and lifted her book, covering completely. The chair infront of her moved and Shan peeked over. Minhyuk was now sitting there.
"What are you doing?" "I'm taking a seat, what does it look like." She rolled her eyes and began to read her textbook. "Hey, can I ask you something?" Minhyuk asked lying his head on the table. Shan blew her breath. "What is it?" Minhyuk sat up. "Will you go on a date with me this Saturday?" Shan's eyes widened, "Huh?!" "So, what do you say?"
"Why?" "I don't know, you don't really do anything besides studying and I thought you were cute." He says avoided her eyes. "U-um, okay then." Minhyuk fist bumped the air. "Uh, Can I get your phone number?" He asked handed her his phone. She typed it in and handed it back."Where are we meeting?" "There's this café, I'll text you the address." He said with a smile. "I'll see you Saturday." Minhyuk waved. After he was gone, Shan buried her face in her book. I have a date, with Lee Minhyuk. Who I once despised.
