"Hi Diopside!!!" She waved at me nang makita niya ako. Nakasanayan ko nang maglakad sa shortcut dahil sakanya.
Bakla man pakinggan pero I feel incomplete kapag hindi ko siya nakikita.
"Desty" Tumakbo siya saakin at may pinakita, a tuxedo?
"Ano yan?" Nagtatakang tanong ko.
"Uhm, tuxedo?" She answered innocently.
"Para saan?"
"For your alumni party!" Wait? Ha?
"Diopsidee yohooo" She waved her hand in front of me kaya bumalik ako sa katinuan
"Oh?"
She pouted. "I already told you that this is for your alumni party. Wear this ha? Please? And then take a picture and show it to me. Pleaseee."
"I already told you that i'm not coming, diba? Ibalik mo na yan." Inis na sabi ko. Ang kulit din talaga ng babaeng to.
Umupo siya at tumingin sa ulap, umuulan nanaman pero nasa cottage kami kaya hindi kami nababasa.
"Don't you know how lucky you are na makakasama ka sa isang party?" She pouted. "I never experienced that... yung mga colorful lights na nagiging steady and white kapag nagslow dance na.. yung aayain ka nung boy na sumayaw while giving you a boquet of rose... yung habang nagsasayaw kayo, the both of you will be surrounded by awkwardness.. yung may required na ilagay like corsage and neckties.. yung magpapasukat for gowns and long dresses.. yung unlimited pictures na kahit anong post mo... yung mananalo ka ng awards like prom queen and king... yung magsasayaw ka with your squad as crazy as you can.. yung mga masasarap na foods na pinioilahan... yung macoconcious ka kasi baka sobrang kapal ng make up mo.."
I felt it, naramdaman ko kung gaano niya kagusto maranasan yun, kung gaano siya kalungkot, kung gaano siya kainggit, kung gaano siya nagdadayream. I felt it all.
I didn't felt it dahil hindi ko yun naranasan, it's because i'm starting to feel like she's my other half.
"Fine.. i'm going to come and wear that tuxedo in one condition." Napatingin siya sakin na parang binuhayan ng loob.
Ngumisi ako.

"Do you want to fit some gowns para sa party?" I asked.
"I already have mine."
"Hmm anong color?"
"White and red."
"Red again? Is red really your favorite color?" Nakakunot noo kong tanong.
I saw her tense up. "Diopside.." tinignan niya ako sa mata, she's already calm. "You can't change the fact that all my clothes are red and also, blue is my favorite color."
"Then wear blue."
"D-do you want me to wear the blue gown that you saw nung araw na niligtas mo ko?" She stuttered. Nakita ko ang takot sa mata niya.
"No.. of course, not." I answered at hinawakan ang balikat niya tsaka siya hinarap saakin. "Just wear the red one okay? If that'll make you happy, then wear it as long as you'll be my date." I smiled sweetly to her.
"Diopside..." She whispered at sinuklian ako ng matamis na ngiti na nakapagpatibok ng puso ko. "I'll wear white para kunyari ikakasal tayo.. laro tayo kasal-kasalan ha?"
