Katniss's POV

I yawn and cuddle into my pillow. Wait, thats not a pillow.. I open my eyes and see its something much better then a pillow. Peeta. I snuggle under his chin as I feel him start to stirr. My fingers trace little circles on his abs.

"wake up sleepy" I whisper and kiss his nose.

Even though I can tell hes awake, he pretends to sleep and pulls me closer. There is no gap between our two bodies. I giggle.

His arms wrap around my waist. Im getting hungry, so I think of a way to get him up. Well this shouldn't be hard....

I lean forward and press my lips to his. Within a heartbeat he kisses me back. we both pull back for air after a bit.

his eyelids flutter open, exposing his beautiful blue orbs.

"morning beautiful" he says in a husky voice.

With a smile I rub the sleep from my eyes. As I do, I notice the time. 8:50. humpf. school starts at 9:00. wait.... School! I completely forgot!!!

"Shit Peeta were going to be late for school!" I panic. It sinks into him as well as he shoots up.

"Come on!" he laughs and pulls me up. I grab some random skinny jeans and a crop top along with some old boots. Peeta has exta clothes here so he pulls them on.

His shirt shows off his abs and I cant help but stare for a moment.

"like what you see?" he chuckles. I blush and kiss him. "you know I do" I say and playfully smack him. He laughs and we go thundering downstairs.

"bye Primmy!" I yell before realizing she left a long time ago. Her middle school starts at 8:45.

"Awkward" I mumble and Peeta bursts out laughing.

We quickly get into his car and speed off, careful not to push the speed limit too much. "Hurry Its 8:58!" I laugh as we pull into the school parking lot. He takes my hand and we sprint through the school halls to English.

we run through the classroom door just as the bell rings.

"well that was a close one" I whisper as we plunk down in our seats. Some people give us weird looks, others just ignore us.

Soon, the class is over, and Peeta and I go our separate ways. He has socials and I have math.

"Bye" I say sadly. He gives me a quick peck on the lips before waving "see you in exactly 80 minutes" he chuckles and we walk our separate ways.

"hey katpiss" Delly says with a smirk as she comes up behind me. Oh right, I have Math with that bundle of joy. I ignore her and keep walking. Suddenly, something pushes my back forcefully, sending me crashing to the ground.

"WHOOPSIES!" Delly shrieks sarcastically.

"Back of bitch" I mutter before standing up and grabbing my books.

"Unforgiving slut" she spits at me before strutting off with her minions.

I drag myself to class and take a seat in the back. I dont know anyone in this class.

"ok were going to start off wit-...." I tune him out and pull my phone out. I hide it under my desk and send Peeta a text.

I sigh and put my phone away. Only 10 minutes left of class! whoop whoop! I doodle in my notebook till I hear the bell, signaling class is over. Happily, I jump from my chair. I speed out of the classroom and to my locker. After I put all my math books away, I go to where Peeta and I normally meet. There he stands. When he spots me he flashes me a 100 wat smile. I hurry over to him and he wraps his arms around me. I quickly give him a kiss.
