He was there even before Tyler awoke.Sitting there, watching him as he slept in fear, tossing and turning and muttering things that he'd never remember the next day. But the dark didn't prohibit the mans crazed eyes from seeing the brunette clearly. Because that's what he was through his eyes, clear. Clear as the blue sky that he no longer saw, and as clear as his silky skin that the man itched to touch. But he couldn't, not yet.
He watched him all night until the early morning seeped through the cracks of his brain, and although the light never made itself present through the thick cement walls of the enclosing basement, he could feel himself change completely. The itch to touch his baby was strong enough to kill and the only reason he wasn't because the screaming from Josh inside of his head was deafening.
I'll kill you if you touch him, I'll kill you, I swear
For some reason Josh was vaguely present in the back of his mind when he morphed, and he could listen on some of the conversation he had or what he was thinking in this situation. He was never present with any of the other personalities and vice versa, but he had always been for this specific one. It was like he suddenly woke up when the strong danger that radiated through this personality was recognized. Josh would never be able to control his actions but there was no doubt that he wouldn't be able to kill him. He knew Josh was smart, and that he was capable. That's what scared him the most, so he didn't touch his doll, even if the verge was threatening.
Excitement rushed through his bones when he heard the hand cuffs rattle together and the young brunette whine. He watched the brunette pull on the cuffs a few more times in a weaker attempt to break free, but hope was soon ebbing away from him, being replaced by fright when the brunette finally heard a him chuckle behind him.
Tyler slowly turned his head around in pure fear before meeting his evil gaze. The brunette immediately felt unprotected and unsafe, like he was going to be hurt. Whichever personality this was, wasn't going to be a good one, and he was in no way prepared.
Tyler whimpered while scooting himself on the bed as far away from the man as possible, but his luck was no good as the evil man stood from his seat and stepped closer to him.
The younger man couldn't believe how different these personalities were. It wasn't just differences in mentality either, it was the physical changes that surprised Tyler the most. He could see real physical differences that seemed almost completely different from each other. Josh was strong and fit and flexible in many more ways than one, but whoever this was, had wide shoulders and a built form, but Tyler wouldn't be surprised if that changed throughout the next personality that came along.
"You're as precious as the first time I saw you," Came the rough words from the evil man, but who was he exactly? Tyler was almost sure he had this one down.
Tears had already formed in Tyler's eyes. He no longer cared if he appeared weak, it didn't matter anyway. He wasn't getting out of here anytime soon.
Another whimper fell from Tyler's lips, "W-Who are you?" He questioned. If he had seen him before, that could only mean one thing, this was-
"I'm the leader honey," The man chuckled, "The Judge." He emphasized.
Tyler stared in shock. This was the worst one, the one who he needed to be trained for, but he wasn't trained, and he was far from ready for whatever was to come ahead.
"Y-You brought me here?" The broken brunette questioned. He felt so many things, hatred, anger, sadness, and the worst of all, trapped. He had no where to run or to hide.
The comment only made The Judge chuckle once more, "Yeah, and I'm the one who's gonna keep you here too." He stepped closer and Tyler began to cry.
"You're our treat," The Judge said, "You should hear how Message Man and Josh think about you."
Tyler didn't want to know. He didn't want to know at all.
"Message Man wants to have you for his own, but I won't allow that, neither will Josh," He began chuckling darkly again, creeping closer to Tyler until he sat down onto the bed, beside him, "Josh wants to protect you, but he's got his selfish wants and needs to."
Tyler didn't understand, and The Judge could sense that, as he started again.
"Josh wants to keep you here too, but not in ways that you'd assume," He explained vaguely.
The brunette decided that he shouldn't trust anything this man said.
He could only trust Josh, because Josh understood. He understood everything Tyler needed him to understand, and oh god did Tyler miss him right now.
The man was too close, Tyler decided. He pulled on his restraints, knowing that he wouldn't be able to escape but trying nonetheless. He let out a cry before burying his face in his knees, he couldn't face The Judge. Not now.
"You're so beautiful," he purred, and Tyler felt disgusting. He could've gone into a state of shock when the evil mans hand was placed on his knee, beginning to trail down his leg but soon being pulled away.
Don't touch him
It was Josh's voice that caused The Judge to retract his hand, he tried to keep his composure before wincing at the loss of contact.
"You're lucky, little one," The Judge said.
Tyler peaked his head out from his knees, tear stained eyes becoming even more wet.
"I-I'm no where near lucky," The brunette whispered harshly, and as soon as his words were released he knew he shouldn't have said anything.
The Judge looked at him with a crazed stare, and angry stare. Before Tyler even knew what was happening the evil man was extending his arm backwards and then launching it forward, strong hand colliding with Tyler's cheek harshly, the force sending him backwards.
A pained yell was released from Tyler as the only thing that kept him from falling completely off of the bed was his wrist that was connected to the bed by the cuffs. He cried out as his cheek stung and throbbed harshly and now he couldn't feel his wrist. He couldn't feel it at all.
He didn't dare look up as tears slipped from his eyes silently. He had no energy in him to even make a sound. He wanted this to be over, he wanted Josh to come back and save him from this hell that he'd been trapped inside.
He could hear The Judge pace back and forth while small whispers left his lips.
"Don't you even think about speaking back to me like that again," The man said, rushing out of the room immediately after, locking the large door behind him.
Tyler finally willed himself to curl back on the bed to try and fall asleep, but sleep was a long lost tale now.
Food didn't come again either today, leaving a crying Tyler to starve alone on his cold bed. He was going to have to get food sometime soon before he became too weak.
He let his heavy eyelids slip shut, but sleep never came. Not until his body was too weak to keep him conscious any longer.
This is my favorite chapter so far.
