I happened to be a lonely poet, feeling like Shakespeare in today's modern time. Writing poetry and short stories with no one to share with. I haven't found a person of interest only my ubiquitous writings have influenced a little interest.
Jane, she's beautiful with a mentality far beyond the skies, I have yet to meet a person with the same interest as mine.
Jane and I, had a connection with a different perspective...and That's Tea & Coffee.
As I sit by the window in the Cafe, listening to the old-school jazz musicians, I began to write a poem about LOVE. I don't know why, it suddenly appeared in my mind.
A gentle hand was placed on my shoulder, I looked over to see Jane.
"Hey!" she greeted me with excitement.
I replied back in a formal way.
"What are you writing?" she asked me.
"I was writing a poem." I replied.
She was very thrilled and I was very eager to know why.I asked her why are you so excited today, she explained how one of her article's were published in a magazine and she'll probably move to L.A. the news was great but a little unsettling. A void of sadness filled my heart.
She started to write in her book, I read the title "TEA VS COFFEE" very interested in knowing what's the meaning of the the title but I figured, one day I'll know.
She told me how she love the way I think and how handsome I am, to me she was flirting in a way. We were mistaken for couples in the Cafe, I guess people saw the connection and our simultaneous smiles. Every time we speak we end up talking over each other. I enjoyed her presence and she enjoyed mine.
I read the article she wrote, it was a very well written, cohesive article. She's a autonomous worker; and a paragon for writing. I was so mesmerized by her article that I couldn't even hear her asking me repeatedly do I like it. Her work is beautiful as her; which is extremely beautiful.
Unexpectedly, she brought up the great debate (Tea Vs Coffee) trying to explain how Tea is nasty and bad but I rebuttal her claims in the most simplistic way. Even though I explained the health risk of coffee, she tried to find a reason to rebuttal my claims but I used facts.
Her & I, talked for hours, I found out she's not a religious person because she believes religion is used to control and segregate people. She's a vegan; advocates programs that want to put an end to killing animals. She's a humanitarian; her passion is helping the less fortunate.
I think I fell in love with her...or something. But, a hint of romance occupied our atmosphere. I think Cupid shot us both.
