Caxel: The Other World.

INTRODUCTION

I swear I haven't done anything out of ordinary that day.

But I wonder...

How did it happen?

Questions keep bothering my mind. Questions that I believe I don't know the answer of. And these questions kept on confusing me.

Until now.

Until I had remembered the letter I had found in my locker.

I thought it explained everything.

And it did.

And though I wasn't much of an Alice in Wonderland fan, I knew her story. I knew all about her falling into a rabbit hole and ending up in some world called Wonderland.

And... I think I'm becoming another "Alice" in my own way. In my own story. Sleeping, waking up suddenly in the middle of the night, wondering, and falling into an unknown hole...

Ending up in an unknown world beyond the Earth...

Ending up in the other world...

A world called Caxel.

LONG PROLOGUE plus introducing of the characters.

"The Harston twins are missing."

That was the only sentence it took for the day to start being on its absolute worst. The moment Miss Jensen had stated this to us, the open window suddenly shut itself on its own, slamming it so hard that it broke. The glass shattered on the floor and fortunately, no one was hurt. That was the sign that the weather had suddenly turned... I don't know. Cold? Ugh, more like freezing. After that, we heard an unending sound of the honking of the cars outside. It was really unbearable, considering the fact that we weren't used to those kind of noises, even though we live in a city.

"You okay?" Jake nudged me. I looked back at him and shrugged. I seriously didn't know what to say to him. I just shivered and sighed.

"You're cold," he observed. "Here." He wrapped his leather jacket around me and hugged me closer to him for body warmth. "Hope you'll feel better," he murmured.

"And I hope you don't have body odor," I teased him, giggling a bit. He smirked at me and shook his head. He didn't take any of my teasing seriously, and that was really one of the best things that I know about him.

"I wonder what's with Miss Jensen's sentence," he said. "She must have possessed some power to turn the weather this bad." He chuckled at his own joke and let me rest my head on his chest.

"You weirdo. Quit thinking about things like that," I told him. "I'm getting creeped out here and I'm guessing it's because of your very horrible body odor."

Jake just laughed at me and patted my head. I closed my eyes for a moment and sighed.

*BANG!*

My eyes widened as I studied the scene after Jake and I stood up, startled. "What the?!" I exclaimed.

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!"

Everybody in our room screamed in terror as one of our classmates slumped to the floor, his head in his own blood. The red liquid had scattered all over his place and he was definitely lying lifelessly on the floor.

"Oh shit!" Even our teacher could not resist cussing as she looked at what had happened to one of her students. "Oh shit! Somebody call 911! QUICK! Everyone out of the room NOW─"
