Chptr 2: The busy woman

Hailey's pov:

after few hours of working I looked at the clock to find it's 9:30 p.m. "Gosh, I bet Dominik is so mad at me right now" I said to myself then I closed the laptop and turned my work's cell phone off and got up I wore my jacket, took my handbag and went out of my office, I was so tired I went to the elevator then I heard the voice of Cassy calling me "Mrs. Smith! Mrs. Smith please just waits for a minute" she said running to me "What's wrong Cassy? I got to go home now" I said whining, I felt tired and can't work anymore for today "I know, I'm really sorry but ... David called and he said that he need you to do him a favor and I set up a meeting with him tomorrow at 2:00 p.m." Cassy explained the reason why she stopped me and interrupt my peaceful walk to the elevator "Oh, you mean David with the recording company?" I asked her trying to find out which David she was talking about "Yes" she replied me "Okay, anything else?" I asked her seeing if I can go or she wanted to add something "No, sorry again have a good night" Cassy said then she walked away "good night" I replied her then looked at my clock and went to my car.

After 14 minute of driving, I finally arrived home I opened the door and found Dominik watching TV "Hey Sweetie" I said and kissed him on his cheek "Hey mom, the food is in the oven, and there is cola in the fridge" he said while he is watching TV "Are you mad at me?" I asked him to know if he was mad because I'm late once again! "Nope, I'm used to that" he replied me and didn't even look at me.

"Well at least I came back earlier!" I whined to him he looked at me and smiled then turned the TV off "I'm going to bed now, I really feel sleepy" he said then get up from the couch "Wait, but we haven't talked!" I whined "Do you have school tomorrow?" then I asked him "We actually talked" he laughed then added "No, they are still fixing it" he said answering my question then he asked "Will you be late tomorrow too?" Dominik asked me "I really don't know, till now I have only one short meeting and few papers to check, hope I won't be late" I said replying him then he said "Do your best" and he walked to his room, I felt terrible! me and Dominik didn't spend time together since a very long time, I really miss when we talk, do crazy stuff, play Xbox, go out together I just miss spending time with him "I'm so terrible" I said to myself then I walked to my room and slept.

next morning I woke up, got dressed and went to the office thank god there wasn't any traffic in my way I started to work immediately I really wanted to go home early I didn't speak to anyone I just sat and finished all the papers then Cassy came and said "Mrs. Smith, David is here" she said and waited for me to say should she let him in or not "Okay let him in" I said with a smile then Cassy went and told David that he can come on in, he knocked the door then he opened it "Heyy Hailey" he said with a huge smile "Heyy Davvy! How are you? Been a long time!" I said then a hugged him "Have a seat" I added then he sat down and thanked me "So, to be honest ... I came here for a work visit" he said smiling "A work visit?" I asked wondering "Yeah it's a visit when I check how are you and talk to you about work" he said explaining I laughed then I said "Okay, but first tell me what do you want to drink?" , "Some orange juice please" he said "So there is that band... I'm doing a video clip for them" he opened the reason of his visit "Let me guess you want me to help you with the costumes?" I asked him "Please they are giving me terrible clothes ideas! I really need your help!" he whined and begged "Okay, I'm in" I said to him "Okay I'll let Rachel call Cassy and tell her the details" he said then he got up "Are you leaving?" I asked wondering "Yeah, thanks for your time" he said and walked to the door.

I felt so Happy now I can leave, I'm able to finally crush the distance which happened lately with Dominik I felt so happy I walked to the elevator Cassy rushed behind me "Are you going home?" she asked wondering "Yeah I'm, and I think you should too!" I answered her "I wish but I have some work to do" she whined "Cassy... when was the last time you took a vacation?" I asked her, for the first time since ever I was going home early and I wanted everyone to be happy as I'm "Before a while" she answered with a law voice "Go home Cassy" I said and  walked to my car...
