Dominik's P.O.V.:
I woke up at 9 a.m. and freaked out, I'm late! I jumped from my bed then I saw a paper on the pillow next to me I think it was from mom, I picked the note and started to read it I can't believe what she did! She is amazing! She called the headmaster and told him that I'll take a day off I really needed that vacation today! and to be honest I was so scared from going to school today... you can say that I'm having some problems I don't understand why people are being kind of mean with me, I didn't do anything wrong to them! It's just not fair.
Do you think that she noticed that there is something wrong with me? I mean why she would let me stay if she didn't feel like there is something wrong, hope not because I don't want to bother her with my problems she finally found a guy that she might be liking him and I don't want to destroy that, I want her to be happy she deserve to be happy after what dad did to her she cried for days and hardly moved on.
I ate my breakfast corn flakes and milk started to play Xbox after a while I felt bored so I picked the phone and called mom:
"Hey mom" I said to her
"Hey sweetie, how are you? What are you doing?" mom asked
"I'm good just a little but bored, will you come home early today?" I asked her wondering I was so bored and worried I needed to be by her side
"No honey I won't sorry, I have so many papers to do!" mom whined to me, I felt sad because I wanted to be by her
"Um okay" I said with a disappointed tone
"Is everything okay?" mom asked, gosh I knew it; I knew that she felt like there is something wrong going on!
"Yeah, I'm just bored and feeling lonely" I said "hey can I come over?" I asked mom wondering
"You? Want to come? Are you sure that you are okay?" mom laughed feeling surprised
"Yes me! I want to come over and maybe I can help you to finish your work faster" I told her, gosh please say yes! I really don't want to stay alone!
"Okay" mom said, I felt so happy for that I closed the phone after saying goodbye and called the driver, the driver took me to mom's company I walked to her office and saw Cassy "hey Dominik what are you doing here?" Cassy said wondering "hey Cass, I'm here to see mom" I told her Cassy worked with mom since years so me and her kind of friends "okay let me tell her that you are here" she said with a smile and walked to mom, after few seconds she came and told me to go.
I knocked the door "hi mom" I said with a smile, "hi sweetie" she said and got up and hugged me, I saw papers thrown everywhere, the room was a totally mess! Pictures of models, clothes, contracts "wow and I thought that my room was a mess!" I said laughing then picked some papers from the chair send sat down "I was busy and lazy that's why all that happened!" mom said then put her head on the desk "umm I can clean it up for you if you want..." I suggested "really?!" mom said with a happy tone "yeah, I mean that will make you finish earlier" I said because I didn't want to sit and do nothing "thank you so much! so now I want you to put all similar papers together so I can find them easier, and if you'll find a green paper give it to me cause I'm looking for it since hours!" mom said and I started to pick papers from the floor and her desk, I looked at the models pictures are they real people like us? Do they eat food like us or then eat oxygen?! I feel sorry for them.
After a while I asked mom what will we do after we done she said "oh gosh I forgot! The guy with dreads do you remember him?", "yeah what about him?" I asked "well he asked me if he can take us out..." she answered "what do you mean by us?" I wondered " he said that he want to take you and me to somewhere do you want to go?" mom asked "oh, Do I have to come with you guys?" I whined "yes! cause I told Tom that if you won't go I won't go, but if you don't want to go it's okay I'll call him and tell him that we won't go ..." mom said, are you crazy? You like him I know because you remembered him name! We are defiantly going! I won't let you miss a guy you like because of my battle with the world I thought to myself, and then I looked at mom and said "oh no we're going! Call him and tell him" I told her "okay" she said and picked her phone:
"Hello Tom, how are you? Hope I'm not interrupting you from something? Good thanks about what you told me about the going out this evening thing? I and my son are coming if the going out offer is still... ha-ha very funny! Pick us after an hour from the company. Okay bye." mom said while she was talking to him, we'll go out with Tom after an hour I looked at her eyes and saw a weird bright! I really think she likes him "so what did he said?" I asked her "he said he'll pick us after an hour "she laughed and asked "Are you done with putting papers together?", "only few left, are you going like this?" I said "yeah what's wrong with my clothes?" mom said "come on mom! You own a fashion company you can't get out in the evening with morning clothes..." I Saud suggesting for her to go wear something more attractive "um you are right! I'll go and change my clothes with something looks more night" mom said and went out of the office.
I stayed alone, I kept putting papers in the right place then my phone start ringing it was the text massage's tone I opened the text and read it: "You thought you can run away from reality Dominik? You are nothing more than a loser, a nobody, a freak ... enjoy your evening with your mom and her boyfriend" I read the text it was from unknown number I felt scared I dropped my phone and walked away, who would something like that?! How did he know that I'll be out with mom and Tom?! what's going on I get myself together and picked the phone I tried to reply the text but I couldn't, I sat down feeling shocked then mom came back she saw me shocked and knew that I wasn't okay "Are you okay sweetie?" she said and sat next to me hugging me, no I'm not there is an unknowing number stalking me I'm afraid mom I wanted to say that badly but I couldn't I replied her with "yes", "Are you sure? you look like you just saw a ghost or something" mom asked she felt worried about me "yeah I'm fine, I just feel a little bit hungry" I said with a fake smile "you look so beautiful by the way" I added "thank you" she said and hugged me back again, sometimes I feel like she knows exactly what I need and when.
