The latex woman froze immediately, staring at us with death in her eyes. Why can't we just be left alone. I saw Piper cross to my left and Annabeth cross to my right. I couldn't watch them fight because it would waste time. The others were probably getting assassinated right now. Gods, please help them!
"Guys go!" I say to them in Greek.
"But her!"
"Just go!"
"Thank you. Stay brave Max, hopefully you will survive this." Annabeth said to me.
"Way to sound like a fate." I say, Annabeth's lip curving into a smirk. "Go!" They ran away and the latex woman turned to me.
"This will be fun." I comment quickly. "Oh and sorry in advance." I ripped out one of the poisonous daggers and her eyes went wide with fear. "It's poisonous." I explained. She then turned and sprinted away. I can't let her go, Piper and Annabeth are finding the others. I started to run after her, yelling threats as I went. The latex woman obviously didn't want anything to do with me so she abruptly turned. I turned with her, mortals thinking they can out run us? Ha!, and I slowly followed her to the pool. She kept running and soon we were on opposite sides of the pool.
She mumbled something into a head set, probably calling for backup because I am an awesome fighter, and then she put her hands up in surrender. I raised an eyebrow, trap? Definitely a trap. I sighed as I walked over to her, and she looked me in my green, unpredictable eyes.
"If you want to kill me then just do it now." She spat at me. I unsuccessfully hid my laugh and soon I was sprawled on the cold, wet pool ground laughing. She looked at me quizzically.
"I'm not going to hurt you idiot! I mean sheesh! That's even worst then Percy, and he's a kelp head!" I wheezed, my stomach hurt from laughing so hard. "I'm friendly. I don't know about you guys, kidnapping us and then having old pirate dude beat us up... but we're friendly. I, personally, was enjoying seeing the famous Empire State Building until you guys came in." I know I was lying. But hey! Sometimes demigods have to lye. Latex woman started at me, obviously rethinking what ever she was thinking.
"Where are you from?" She asked me. I stared down at the ground thinking hard. My mom was from India but I was only in India until I was one, then we moved to China, then to Israel, then to France, then to Greece, and lastly, when I was three, to the USA.
"Dunno. I moved around a lot." I could see disbelief in her eyes. "Fine! My dad's from Texas." I lied. "But my mom's from India. My dad devourced my mom in India while she was pregnant with me." I lied. That wasn't true, instead mom broke up with dad because he was a god. "Well, then when I was one we moved to China. Then after half a year, we moved to Israel. Then after two weeks we moved to France. Then when I was two we moved to Greece. And lastly, when a day before my birthday we moved to USA." I finished. She stared at me in shock, then I nocked her out, silently wishing I hadn't told her my background information. I ran out of the room with blurry vision. Why can't my life just be normal! Argh!
