Leo's Dream:
He saw all of it happen. It was blurry at first, but then he ended up in the cell with Max. Her brown hair with red highlights was concealed by dirt and... is that blood?! She wasn't crying, rather just pondering thoughts. The door opened and all of the avengers walked out. She hissed and went to the cell's edge. Pirate came in lastly with a few agents and some weapons. They tried to bribe her but nothing worked.
"I'm not going to tell you anything." She said after saying all of their names. I grinned at her strength. Then the pirate named Fury signaled for the agents to grab a gun and Max.
"No!" I screamed, but Max showed no emotion.
The first shots were fired and everyone stared at Max, waiting to see emotion. She just bit her lip. The second shot was in her foot. She flinched and muttered 'Mortals' under her breath. She then started singing the song that she always sang during practice. She never told us where she learned it, but she became calm and collected. There were several more shots but the song remained strong until one of the shots was apparently very bad and she blacked out.
I woke up crying and with one thought on my mind:
We have to get Max.
