Today is Tuesday, and Ariana is currently rushing around, trying to find Liam's shoes. But it's becoming increasingly difficult in 6 inch heels.
"Liam honey, where were they when you last saw them?" She sighs, looking at the toddler who is staring up at her from the couch with his big brown eyes.
"I don't know mommy." He replies innocently and Ariana brings her hands to her temples, rubbing them to get rid of her headache.
She is supposed to be dropping Bella and Liam off at her mom's soon and then going on a date with Justin.
The door bell rings, signalling that the young father and daughter are here already.
Ariana almost has a panic attack because she is no where near good to go.
She still needs to find the missing shoe, grab her handbag and put on some lipstick before she's even remotely ready.
Ariana composes herself and opens the door, smiling at the two people.
Bella is cuddled up in Justin's arms, wearing an adorable penguin onesie that may be a few sizes too big.
Justin himself is wearing some black ripped jeans and a white shirt, a few of the buttons undone at the top.
"Hey." Justin chuckles at the state of Ariana and she sighs, giggling too.
"I'm sorry, I'm so unorganised." She apologises, holding the door open for Justin to walk through.
"Oh it's okay. There's no rush." He stands in the hallway looking like an awkward dork for a while.
"You can go sit down." Ariana laughs, running around hurriedly.
Justin laughs too and places Bella down to see Liam, before taking a seat on the couch.
"Hello." Liam giggles, jumping onto the couch next to Justin, Bella following after, the onesie bagging down on her tiny body.
"Hey buddy." Justin smiles, ruffling Liam's hair in amusement.
"Are you going out with my mommy?" Liam asks curiously.
"Yeah I'm gonna take your mommy out for a meal." Justin chuckles at the 4 year old.
"Be nice to her." Liam tells Justin, being protective of his mom.
"I will don't worry." Justin laughs at Liam and Ariana bursts into laughter from across the room.
Bella cuddles into the arm of the couch, sucking her thumb. She doesn't seem to be in a very talkative mood today.
"Someone's sleepy." Justin tickles Bella's chin with his finger and she squeals a little, making the adults giggle.
"Okay, I'm ready. Liam darling you'll have to wear your crocs I'm afraid." Ariana laughs.
Liam pouts as Ariana puts his crocs on. He does not look very impressed.
"Let's go."
The 4 young people descend the building in the lift and walk out to Ariana's car.
Justin runs to his car to grab Bella's car seat and straps her in Ariana's car while she helps Liam.
Ariana and Justin jump in the front and Ariana pulls the car out of the parking bay and into the road.
"Music?" Ariana chuckles, plugging the aux cord in. Immediately, the Bob the Builder theme tune blasts out and Liam screams in excitement.
"Mommy mommy keep it!" He claps his hands. Bella and Liam both sing along, Justin smiling and Ariana shaking her head jokingly.
Soon enough, Ariana parks the car in her mom's driveway and walks up to the front door.
"Hey mom." She greets her mom with a hug and then steps back.
"This is Justin, you know, the one I was telling you about. And that's Bella, who you'll be taking care of." She giggles.
Joan shakes Justin's hand and kneels down next to the two children.
"Shall we go inside so your mommy and your daddy can go?" She asks and the two nod their head.
"C'mon then loves. Say bye bye."
"Bye daddy." Bella runs up and Justin crouches down to give his little girl a cuddle.
"See you soon sweetheart."
Liam says goodbye to Ariana and then the two children run inside the house giggling adorably.
"Have fun." Joan kisses Ariana's cheek and smiles at Justin.
"You take good care of my daughter." She says pointedly and he grins.
"Don't worry, I wouldn't let anything happen to this beautiful lady."
As Ariana walks away with Justin, Joan winks at her and mouthes 'He's a keeper.'
Ariana giggles and disappears into the night with her date.
Justin leads her to a quiet little restaurant, and they make small talk all the way.
They sit at a tiny booth in the corner, and a slutty waitress with far too much makeup on and far too little clothing appears.
Ariana thinks that she has no chance now. Guys like sluts right? The 'easy' ones?
She is surprised when Justin doesn't even take a second glance and orders his food without his eyes straying from her face.
"I'll have a veggie burger please." Ariana smiles at the waitress who fake smiles back and walks off, swinging her hips and flicking her hair.
"So..." Justin turns to Ariana, his chin in the palm of his hand.
"So..." She giggles, staring into his inquisitive brown eyes.
The two young people make light hearted conversation throughout the meal, making jokes about Ari's burger being bigger than her face.
"Thank you for an amazing night." Ariana thanks Justin when they are about to depart at her grandma's house. "We should do it again sometime."
"Yeah. I enjoyed it." Justin chuckles, ruffling Bella's hair as she stands there looking sleepy.
