Bella and Liam have come up with a plan. They are going to try to persuade their parents to let them have a sleepover.
I mean... it can't be hard right?
Wrong.
As soon as Bella runs up to Justin after preschool and begs him to let her sleep over at the little boys house, he is horrified.
"Please daddy?" Bella gives her father the infamous puppy eyes and tugs on his baggy sweatshirt. "Let me sleep with LiLi?"
Justin's eyes widen even more than is humanely possible and he shakes his head over and over. He doesn't want his baby girl to be sleeping over with a boy when he's not there! Plus, she's still only four years old.
Justin hasn't noticed that fact that across the playground, Ariana is having the same problem.
"Mommy can Bella sleep at our house?" He pleads, jumping up and down and pointing at Bella.
Ariana chuckles, looking over to see Justin frantically shaking his head, looking terrified.
"If Bella's daddy lets her. Which I'm not sure will work." Her giggling continues and she doesn't process quick enough what has happened.
Liam has sprinted over to Bella and is excitedly shouting things at her.
Ariana jogs over and stops laughing immediately, hearing just what Liam is saying.
"Mommy said you can sleep with me!"
Both parents' eyes widen and Ariana gulps, looking up at Justin nervously. What will he think of her now?
"Look Bella, maybe Liam can sleep over at ours instead okay?" Justin's features soften as he still hasn't torn his gaze from Ariana's face.
"Okay daddy." She replies happily, hugging Liam and making them teeter around on their stubby legs.
Ariana smiles gratefully at the young father who grins back fondly.
"Is Saturday good?" He asks the beautiful woman and she nods her head, blushing slightly at the way he is looking at her.

It is Saturday night, and Bella is about to pee herself with excitement. She's about to have her first ever sleepover with her best friend LiLi!
"Daddy can we eat ice cream? And popcorn! And can LiLi come in my room again!" Bella shouts at Justin joyfully as he is making dinner.
The best thing he can cook is cheese on toast so he had to improvise with some spaghetti from a ready meal packet.
"Yes baby, calm down. Why don't you go wait for Liam by the door?" He suggests and his daughter agrees, running off to wait for the doorbell to ring.
When it does a few minutes later, a desperate shout is heard from the hallway. Justin chuckles, knowing the small girl can't reach the door handle.
He saunters into the hall to open it and is greeted by a bumbling little boy and a gorgeous young woman.
"Hey-" Ariana is cut off by her son's screaming and squealing so she kneels down and hushes him quickly.
"Have fun bub." She places a gentle kiss on the boy's forehead and then another on his nose.
He scrunches it up in an adorable way and giggles, replying soon after.
"Bye mommy!"
Liam runs off into the house with his friend while Justin and Ariana exchange greetings.
"I guess I'd better go." Ari smiles shyly, fiddling with her fingers in anxiousness. This is the first time her son has stayed the night away from home and she's afraid he'll get upset.
"Me too, the spaghetti is probably burning or something." Justin chuckles but his face falls when he sees that Ariana doesn't laugh along.
"Don't worry, Liam will be fine." He assures the mother, making her take a shaky breath and step back.
"Have fun." She giggles, walking away to her car. Justin smiles, shaking his head at the cheeky woman and shuts the door.
