Moon finished off with Snowrey and Darkstalker hugging. She floated silently next to Winter, letting the words sink in.
He had a look of concentration as he thought.
But Moon was still amazed at what she saw. He can't possibly love her. She kept thinking, over and over again.
Why don't we use Snowrey against him? Winter suggested to Moon.
As much as she liked that idea she wanted to keep investigating. Winter noticed her quietness.
You okay Moon? He asked cautiously.
Moon looked at the icewing and nodded. Yeah. Just want to keep reading up on two moon nightwings. I've got to go.
She left Winter in a hurry to find the old library.
Once she got there she realized that her body had left the scroll out on two moon nightwings.
She floated over to it and started reading again, starting with where she had left off.
As well as being able to control their spiritual form, all two moon dragonets can enter and possess those of the living.
Moon thought for a moment. She could possess Darkstalker, but what would she do then? She needed to plan.
Her thoughts wandered to her friends. She knew how Winter was doing, but the rest were unknown.
The nightwing sighed and hoped they were safe.
Her thoughts were cut short by a loud thump. Moon turned cautiously to see none other than Darkstalker looking through scrolls. He had dropped one but didn't seem to notice as it rolled opened.
Moon floated over and looked at the opened scroll.
Icewings? Why would it be about icewings? Moon thought.
Darkstalker seemed frustrated as he rummaged through more stack of the old papers.
Moon looked back down at the scroll and skimmed through it.
He's finding their weaknesses. She finally came to conclusion.
She watched as he pulled five more scrolls off shelves, each had a different symbol.
One for each tribe.
Nightwings he knew better then anyone. He could get any information on the icewings from that female hybrid. But the rest of the tribes. He doesn't know them that well.
Moon came to the realization that Darkstalker had lied to Snowrey. He was going to take the tribes by force. There would be no peace anymore.
He was going to make himself king of Pyrrhia.
Darkstalker stumbled out of the old library to an old room that looked like it was meant for planning attacks.
Moon had followed and slowly went around the room.
There were scrolls on scrolls on all the tribes.
There was a large map in the center of the cave that sat on top of a large rock table. The map's edges seemed frayed from years of usage.
Rocks painted green marked different locations on the map. One in the middle of the ocean in the seawing kingdom. One marking the skywing palace. Another marking the Sandwing stronghold.
Red rocks were sat in locations as well. One over Jade Mountain Academy, another over the Scorpion Den, and one over the summer palace of the seawings.
Hit zones. He's taken over those areas.
Moon realized that Darkstalker wasn't planning on taking over tribes.
He already was.
Just kind of a filler chapter for now. Who's point of view should be next?
