--Gracie's POV

Tomorrow is the day that Joy is leaving, so we were saying our goodbyes.

"Still no sign of Sophie" Patricia says.

"No" i say.

"And your sure your mum didnt just take her out."

"Yes, i'm sure" i say. "Wait, I did hear something that morning, someone was saying something about the two who are one."

We keep talking and we figure out something bad. We call a Sibuna meeting. We meet in my room. We all sit down and Patricia and i start explaining.

"Ok, so you know how Robert said something about the "The two who are one, and one of the two will disappear." Patricia says.

"Yeah." Nina says.

"We think that Gracie and Sophie are the two who are one." Patricia says.

"That does make since, there are two of you, but one of you hasnt disap.."

"Actually" i say cutting Nina off, "Sophie is missing".

"Wait maybe she is in the new room we unlocked last night, the one with the big scale and cages." Amber says.

"You could be right" i say to Amber, wow thats the smartest thing she's said all week.

I look at Patricia and she says, "She has some secret smarts." I try not to laugh.

"Alright so we definetly need to go down to the tunnels tonight.". Fabian says.

We meet in the foyer and i unlock the mummy case and we all enter. At the end of the tunnel Nina and i unlock the door. This time when the door slides open, we are in another room. "Wait" Nina says as she stops me.

"The room has changed" Eddie says.

"Whoa" Joy says.

I step out onto the platform. And Robert Frobisher-Smythes voice came on and said a riddle, "If you wish to find your fallen foe, you must continue the task, dont look below. Keep you head held high and look in the sky, make your way to the side and then provide ."

"What" Nina says.

"Provide what" Joy says.

"I dont know, but if my sister is in that room. then i'm going" i say. Everyone joins me.

"Alright" Nina says. "Dont look below, keep your head held high and then when we make it over there move to the side."

We walk together and make it to the end and move to the side."Alright now what" Amber says. I feel around the wall. I feel a place for my locket. I grab my locket and put it in place. The door opens and we move on.

"Few, that hurts after awhile". Alfie says. I nod, we are back in the room with the scales. I look at both cages one has Sophie in it.

"Sophie" i yell. She doesnt move. I run closer, but someone is holding me back. I turn and its Fabian.

"It could be booby-trapped" He says.

"I dont care, i just want to see if she ok" i run over and the others follow close behind.

I get ready to touch the cage when a voice came on over head. This time it wasnt Robert Frobisher-Smythes.

"One of the two, must be sacrificed in vein to continue" A projection projects out and Osiris is standing in front of us.

"What" I say.

Osiris walks closer, "I said one of the two must be sacrificied in order to continue, so its either you great- great grandaughter of Isis or your sister."

"What have i have i gotten myself in to?" i say.

"if i do this, does that mean that Sophie will be set free, and the others will get to continue."

"Yes, young Isis" Osiris answers.

"No Gracie" Fabian says.

"Fabian i'm sorry" i say. "If sacrificing myself can save 3 others, i will do it."

"But Gracie" Patricia says. I start to tear up.

"Listen, once i'm gone, i want you guys to finish all the tasks and save Nina and Eddie, dont waste anymore lives."

"Gracie no" Fabian says. By now everyone is crying.

"Gracie you dont have to do this for us." Nina says.

"Yes i do, and if i dont my sister goes for me." i say. I hug Patricia, Amber, Alfie and Joy. "It was nice to get to know you all, tell my parents i love them and Sophie"

Fabian runs toward me and hugs me. Now i am really crying and he is too. "Bye Fabian".

"Bye Gracie". He says backing away.

The cage on the left falls down and the door opens. I step in and the door closes. I am lifted up at the same time Sophie is lowered and i watch as her door opens and Patricia and Amber help her out. She is still unconsious. Fabian is just staring at my cage.  I wave one final goodbye.

--Patricia's POV

Amber and I held Sophie up as we watch as Gracie was lifted to the top of the scale, she waved Goodbye. Then a bright light blocks our view and all we hear is one final scream escape from Gracie, and then she is gone. The cage lowers to the ground and she is nowhere to be found, Fabian is having a breakdown. Everyone is in complete and utter shock. We all walk silently back through the tunnels, we have to go the long way because we dont have Gracie's locket to open the mummy case.

The next day everyone was still silent. Joy left for her new school and Sophie was completly confused as to what was going on, and of course Victor notices Gracie's absence.

"Oh she went home for the week" I say. "Her cat got sick"

The next few days Fabian only left is room for school, food, shower and bathroom. Nina and Eddie were the only ones who went back into the tunnels to continue the tasks, and Amber and Alfie were just as shocked as we were. Nina needed our help so we all went down except for Fabian. When we got down into the tunnels, Nina and Eddie had been hard at work they had already passed the 8th task, only 3 more to go, i found a button on the wall. I pressed it and Robert Frobisher-Smythe, s voice sounded throughout the room. "To complete this task, you must use the wings, beware of the consquences that lie unseen, i hope you made the right sacrifice, because without Young Isis this task is thrice."

"What" i say.

"Well thrice means three, so we will have to do this task 3 times before we can move on." Nina says.

"Oh great" Eddie says.

"I guess we should of sacrificed Sophie instead." Amber says.

"Dont say that Amber". i say.

"What, i telling the truth and you know it." Amber says.

"Yeah, but saying that doesnt make a difference, Gracie is already gone." i say.

(Is Sophie going to have to take Gracie's spot in Sibuna or will they continue without her.)

(Will Victor figure out something is up?)

(Will Fabian ever leave his room for anything other than food or the restroom?)
