Mason POV

I'm so tired....

I woke up yawning walking to my bathroom and brushed my teeth.

That's funny...

I looked at my hair closely.

"What the hell?!" I screamed.

I observed the fox ears on my head.

This can't be happening!

"Mason?" Rika called me.

I covered my ears with a towel before she entered the bathroom.

"Nothing just bad hair day" I smiled nervously.

I found a note on my bathroom door.

"Oh...Hi! I just wanted a little more fun so it's just a week. Ask your crush what's happening if you want to now. P.S. I think you are better than the dog and the eagle"

"Huh?" I became confused.

I felt the ears moving under the towel.

"No...this can't be happening" I sighed.

I sat in front of Mr. Wilson, Fuzzy and Ebony in their living room. My ears were covered with a hat which was a bit painful.

"So what's the problem?" Ebony folded her arms.

I sighed taking off the hat.

"She's taking us like some puppets!" Mr. Wilson said angrily.

"Mason, are you okay?" Fuzzy looked at me worriedly.

"I'm felling a little weird" my ears drooped.

"Mason, we will see what we can do" Ebony held my hand.

"I can't let my family know about this" I sighed.

"But it's kinda cute" Fuzzy smiled.

My ears moved rapidly as I blushed.

"I....will be in danger?" I looked at Mr. Wilson.

"Not really" he smiled nervously.

Fuzzy seemed to be trembling smiling nervously at me.

"What's wrong?" I became worried.

"It's just my predator senses ticking off since....you are a fox" she laughed nervously.

"Great, I'm like Daniel" I covered my eyes with my hands.

I felt my teeth sharpened as I looked at her.

"At least I can control it but...I might scare you" I sighed.

"I'll try not to run away" she smiled nervously.

"I don't like being feared by you" I became depressed.

Mr. Wilson and Ebony looked at me worriedly.

"Kid...it's temporary" he patted my back.

"I'm scared...." I mumbled.

Fuzzy hugged me.

"I'll be by your side" she smiled softly.

"How are you going to if I can't control it all the time?" my ears drooped as I became emotionless.

"Here" Ebony smiled nervously giving me a cup of tea.

Harry and Izzy his behind the wall staring at me.

"He...killed my mommy" Harry wiped his tears.

We all looked at him as he cried harder.

"So....that's how he was injured" Mr. Wilson hugged him.

"By a fox" he said in in a serious tone.

I became frightened walking backwards from them.

"You might have to go home for Harry's sake" Ebony looked at me worriedly.

"I understand" I left.

"Mason!" Rika smiled hugging me while I entered the house.

"Hey" I smiled softly.

I took off my hat and kneeled before her.

"Don't tell mom and dad okay?" I patted her head.

"I won't" she patted my head making my ears move.

It feels nice....

"You are a human fox?" she smiled.

"I guess," I smiled nervously.

"Only for a week" I winked.

"So you are going to be adorable for a week?" she smirked.

"Please don't" I sighed.

She scratched behind my ears.

"Rika!.....That feels good" I was angry at first then I smiled softly as she continued.

"Awe!" she screamed.

"Please continue" I begged her.

"It's bed time anyway" she sighed.

My ears drooped as I looked at her.

"Can't....resist..." she held her hand.
