Another Day

"Peggy! Hurry up! We're gonna be late!" Eliza called from the bottom of the steps, tapping her foot impatiently. "I'm coming!" Peggy soon came running down the steps. All of a sudden, she tripped and fell flat upon the ground. "Ugh..." she groaned, sitting up and feeling the area around her mouth where it hurt the most. She looked at her fingers. There was blood dripping from them and her mouth felt sore. "I hope I didn't lose a tooth..." Peggy mumbled, attempting to stand up. Eliza helped Peggy up, being her back support. "Come on, let's get you into the car. Then, when we get to school, we'll go get you straightened up in the bathrooms." Eliza led Peggy to the car where Angelica was waiting in the driver's seat. "What happened?" Angelica asked. "She fell down the stairs and hit her jaw." Eliza responded. "Sure looks pretty bad." Peggy covers her mouth at Angelica's comment. Angelica, then, turns back around and starts the car. They begin to start towards the school.

"Ok, that should be good." Eliza said, dabbing at the last bit of blood with a tissue and throwing it away. Peggy examined herself in the mirror for a bit before picking up her stuff and turning towards the door. "Where are you going?" Eliza asked. "I'm gonna go visit John." And with that, Peggy runs out of the door and into the school's courtyard. 

"John!" Peggy shouts. John suddenly turns around to see Peggy bounding towards him. "Oh, hey, Peggy!" John smiled a wide grin. "You look beautiful." Peggy blushed at his compliment. "Thank you." "Say, let's get headed to class." Peggy nods and they both go to their first period, Science.
