"Angelica, I'm scared. What if no one likes me?" Peggy asked.

"Don't be scared, okay? Everything will be fine. Besides, what is there not to like about you?" Angelica assured her.

The Schuyler sisters always stayed together. That's why they always made sure they had the same classes. Angelica was the oldest, Eliza was the second oldest, and Peggy was the youngest. They had colored outfits: Angelica's was pink, Eliza's was blue, and Peggy's was yellow. They were pretty much queen bees.

Getting out of the car, Angelica looked starry eyed at the school. "Peggy, come on, get out of the car!" Eliza grunted attempting to pull Peggy from the backseat of the car. Eliza managed to get Peggy from out of the car and hid behind Eliza constantly. "Peggy, it'll be fine. Besides, look around at how lucky we are to be alive right now!" Eliza smiled. Peggy slowly came from behind Eliza, straightening out her skirt. The sisters walked inside the school to see all sorts of different kinds of students. Thespians, geeks, nerds, jocks, etc. They made their way to class and looked inside the classroom. There were students throwing paper airplanes, sitting on desks, reading, dribbling basketballs, even drawing on the board. Angelica, Eliza, and Peggy all took seats by each other as the teacher walked in. Everyone sat down in their seats as soon as she walked in. The teacher began saying things that would happen throughout the year and handed us all a syllabus. From there, we could do whatever we wanted. That's when a boy with chocolate skin and brown eyes came over to Angelica. "Hey there, girl." Angelica gave him a nasty look and shooed him away. It seemed like he didn't get it so she said, "Um, you can go now." He still didn't seem to leave. Luckily, Eliza had her back. "Hey, she said leave! Show some respect!" He finally backed away to his group of friends as Angelica and Eliza high fives each other. The school bell rang signaling that 2nd period was next. "Looks like we have science!" Eliza said looking down at her schedule. "Well, come on, we don't wanna be late, now, do we?" Angelica smiled. The sisters went into the science lab and found three seats. It was pretty much the same in science, too. The teacher handed out a syllabus, and from there, they could do whatever they wanted. The bell rang again, which meant that they had a free period outside. "Let's go outside. I wanna see some cute guys, if you know what I mean." Angelica smirked. The three went outside to find all sorts of students. Peggy was walking cautiously with her books held close to her chest, until a tall figure ran into her, making her drop her books. "Ugh..." Peggy groaned rubbing her forehead. "Oh, I'm so sorry! Let me help you!" The figure said stretching his hand out. Peggy took the figure's hand and stood up to get a good look at who it was. It was a boy with freckles, hazel eyes, and a brown curly ponytail. "Thanks." Peggy smiled. "Oh, uh, I'm Laurens. John Laurens." He said. "Peggy. Nice to meet you."

"Peggy. That's a nice name."

Peggy smiled until she heard someone call her name. It must be one of her sisters. "Oh, uh, I've got to go. See you around?" Peggy smiled. "Uh, sure!" John said and headed off towards a group of friends.

"Who was that guy you were talking to, Peggy?" Eliza asked, a slight smirk on her face. "His name is John Laurens. I accidentally ran into him but he helped me up. He's very cute and very nice!" Peggy blushed. Angelica nodded and Eliza squealed. "Peggy's got a crush!" Eliza cheered. Peggy shushed her quietly. "Oh, sorry!" Eliza exclaimed. Peggy sighed as butterflies fluttered wildly in her stomach. Today is going to be a long day.
