"Marcel," Davina shot up from her bed, hastily running over to her easel as she felt the Ancestral magic at work.
"What is it? What do you see?" he asked, running over as she started to paint, desperation in each stroke. "What is that?" He looked at the painting.
"Wait a minute..."
"That's Bella's necklace," Davina said. "It's spelled with these enchantments, she told me about it. Her friend, the Old One, gave it to her when she was first in New Orleans. It's got protective charms, and-"
"Ancestral magic," he finished. "Yeah, I know. What does it mean? Why are you drawing it?" She opened her mouth to speak, but had no idea an answer to his question, instead just shaking her head as her eyes teared up. "Alright, we gotta find her."

"Well, this is excessive," Annabel looked at her surroundings. She was in a stuffy, barely lit room, bound to a chair by wolfsbane soaked ropes at her ankles, arms, torso, and wrists. "Oh, come on, Daddy, don't you wanna talk? Don't go hiding on me now," she called into the darkness with a rather cynical chortle.
Elias sighed and walked out, "Oh, my darling daughter, your confidence will be the death of you."
"So I've been told," she muttered back. "Why am I here? What do you want?"
"Where is your mother?" he asked.
"I don't know, heaven, Shamayim, the Other Side, at peace, something along those lines?"
"Not her soul. Her body. Where is her body?"
"What is it with people kidnapping me? I don't get it. I might be a bitch but I'm not that unreasonable. You coulda just come for a visit, explained why you're not six feet under like my mom said you were, and then we could go from there. But nooo, you just had to abduct me."
"I do not have time for this," he said, turning around and coming back with a dagger in his hand.
"Ooh, scary," she muttered, just as he lodged the knife right in her gut and she groaned out in pain, hunching forward only for the wolfsbane ropes to burn her further.

"Rebekah?" Hayley rushed over when she saw the woman on the opposite couch clench her head and groan out.
"Do you hear that?" she asked, recovering from the horrifying sounds in her ears quickly. "Do you hear that noise? That scream?"
Hayley shook her head, "What scream? Klaus, what's going on," she said when he walked into the room.
"It's Annabel," he said. "You're hearing her, so am I, so is Elijah."
"What?" Rebekah asked, shaking her head in confusion.
"Kol told me about it; her pendant was created using Mikaelson blood by a New Orleans witch. You're hearing her scream because she's in pain."
