Jade's POV

The last few days have been good. Everytime Jessica saw me hanging out with Zayn, she would glare at us. I don't know what her problem is. I think she gets angrier and angrier everyday. Or should I say she gets jealous. Yea, she gets jealous of me. Wow. I would have never thought that a girl like Jessica would ever be jealous of a girl like me. The most popular girl in school is jealous of me.

I just hope she doesn't do anything to me.

"Jade," Someone nudged me in the shoulder. I totally forgot I was class. I must have completely zoned off, into my own thoughts.

"Uh, yea Zayn?" He was standing in front of me smiling. "Why are you smiling like that? It's creeping me out."

"Sorry, it was just that you completely zoned out and your face was priceless. You looked like you had just seen Ryan Gosling or something. Your eyes were wide open, just staring off into space with your mouth hanging open." He laughed.

"Oh, shut up!" I playfully hit him in the arm. A few seconds later, the bell rang and we headed out the class.

Instead of going to the cafeteria, we were going to the gym because the singing competition was today and we were going to watch it. As we were walking together, we made small talk about school and stuff.

"Why do you want to watch the competition?" I asked curiously. It's not that I didn't want to, I was just wondering why.

"Oh, um remember when I told you about that girl singing on YouTube. The one that covered the camera?" I nervously nodded, knowing that he was talking about me. "Well I was thinking that maybe I could find her here."

"Oh," I replied, feeling bad that he won't be finding her today because he doesn't know that she would be sitting right beside him. I wanted to tell him. Something inside me was just telling me to tell him everything, but I couldn't.

Suddenly, someone pushed me really hard from behind.

"Ow!" I screeched. Turning around, I saw Jessica. "What the hell was that for?!" I said angrily. I then realized that people were making a circle around us.

"Ignore her. Let's just go. I don't want you getting hurt." Zayn tugged on my arm.

"Aw! Is Zayn being protective of his girl?" Jessica laughed. I rolled my eyes.

"I'm not his girl." I said quietly. I wish I was. I wish he would like me just as much as I like him, but I know he doesn't and sadly won't.

"What do you want anyways, Jessica?"

"I just came to tell you to STAY AWAY FROM ZAYN." She gritted her teeth as she spoke. She kept walking towards me and I eventually hit my back on a locker. She looked me straight in the eye, angrily.

"Why? He doesn't like you anyways." I spat.

Her eyes turned into a darker shade of green. I could tell she was getting furious. Unexpectedly, she grabbed my collar and threw me on the floor. Everyone started laughing at me.

I saw Zayn walking over to me to help me up, but I stopped him by holding up my hand. Slowly, I got up and groaned at the fact that my bum really hurt.

I confidentially walked over to Jessica, glaring at her.

"You know what, Jessica? Let me tell you the real truth about yourself. You are honestly the worst person I have ever met in my life. All you care about is yourself. You think that you're the most popular girl in school, right? Well, news flash! Your not. Half of the school hates you by the way. They act all nice and stuff 'cause they want to be popular, but honestly they hate you." I couldn't even control what was coming out of my mouth anymore. She deserved it though, considering how many times she's done something to me.
