God knows how much time Ragini spent there, just sat sobbing. She knew her sister would be safe, he had promised he'd save her somehow. What really was bugging her was that what her sister and her family would react like when they realise the truth, about her horrible deed. She had attempted to murder her sister, just the thought made her shiver. Finally, she got up and wiped her tears. Swara had taught her to be strong and not show their enemies weaknesses. Taking one final look at the sea below she slowly walked away back to her house.
In their baari, everyone were dancing, the atmosphere was so peaceful. Just a few more hours and then everything was going to be destroyed. Ragini ignored everyone and went up to Swara's room. The room was exactly the same yet to Ragini it looked different, it looked dull and boring now. She looked at the many pictures of her and and Swara, their smiling faces, the laughter, the happiness died out from her life. Suddenly her phone rang, she looked at the caller id and for a minute a look of pure fury crossed her face but then she picked it up helplessly.
"Ragini I am proud, I thought you wouldn't be able to do the job, I'm impressed." a rough manly voice."
"I only did this to save my sisters life and now it's your turn you said you would save her."
she replied, each word was laced with hatred.
"Don't worry Ragini I have just admitted your beloved sister in hospital, she'll be okay."
With that the phone was cut. Ragini sighed with relief, her Shona was safe, it was all that mattered right now. She left the room, to come face to face with her dadi and mum, she panicked. Did they hear her?
"Laado, where is swara?" her dadi asked.
"Swara wants everyone to meet her at the temple because she knows if you see her now you'll get emotional she doesn't want her family to be upset on her wedding day." Ragini lied.
"But..." Mishti started but dadi cut her off.
"Fine,laado is right we will meet our Swara in the temple and laado please get Swara ready on time." Dadi said.
"Yes mumma please trust your favourite daughter and don't worry I've got everything under control like always." Ragini added, laughing. Mishti laughed and agreed however she seemed hesitant. They left to look over the decorations leaving Ragu alone in her misery again. She ran inside her room, locked it and cried her heart out. Everything was falling apart. Slowly she took a picture of Swara out from the drawer and caressed it carefully.
"Shona I am so sorry I had no other option he threatened to kill you if I hadn't done this please forgive me if you can. I know I'm very bad and don't deserve forgiveness but I am your ragu aren't I?i love you so much sis."She sobbed while whispering to the photo. Hugging the picture near her heart she cried for hours just cried. Before her eyes her world was crumbling and all she could was sit and watch helplessly.
A/N I know this chapter is very short but I felt that this was the best place to end it. Just Ragini and her thoughts. Please remember that since this is my first story there will be grammar mistakes.
