It was already ten that evening, but Baekhyun still couldn't sleep.

Okay, so ten isn't exactly what teenagers nowadays called late, but Baekhyun wasn't even a normal teenager. Sleep was both an escape from reality and his real-time thoughts. It also made his skin healthy and smooth (one of the things he's actually proud about himself).

His eyes were wide awake, not the least drooping. He's been trying to shut them and sleep, but it's been an hour and he only ended up opening them again with a kind of stinging feeling.

Baekhyun groaned, grabbing his hair and pulling at it in frustration.

The real reason why he couldn't sleep?

You've guessed it.

This is all about his asshole of an ex again.

Posting that picture didn't seem enough to satisfy the vengeful monster within his heart. He needed something more, something that will really make Daehyun suffer and hurt. Baekhyun wasn't really bitter, but he definitely wanted to wreck him just to give him a lesson.

Thoughts began to run through Baekhyun's brain, until one particular idea stood out and began to haunt his mind's eye.

Sneak into Daehyun's house and wreck his precious pick-up. Slash the tires and scar the white paint job. Then leave fresh shrimp and crabs on the seats.

That was by far one of the most insane things Baekhyun had come up with, and yet it was also the best thing ever.

It was a plan.

Armed with his supplies for the deed of mischief, Baekhyun trudged down the road. It was already deep into midnight when the petite boy finally got everything that he needed. Now, he was on his way to Daehyun's house. It was just a couple of blocks away from his, so he could make it on foot.

Baekhyun pursed his lips in anticipation, rubbing his hands together for more warmth. He was alive and buzzing with adrenaline. It was by far the most exciting feeling he has ever experienced in the sixteen years that he existed in this world.

Upon reaching Daehyun's house, he immediately ran to the side of the house where a tall tree was located. Crap. He hadn't thought about how to get in. He was too excited of the things he will do that he completely forgot to think up of a plan to enter the house.

Baekhyun placed a hand on the tree, deep in thought. Should he climb this up and enter through Daehyun's window? He didn't lock his window, so he could easily get in through that. But Baekhyun was clumsy as fuck. If he climbed that tree, he might fall and break his neck.

Double crap.

He was running out of ideas.

"Are you seriously thinking about climbing a fucking tree that doesn't even have much branches? And you do not look like the robust type."

Baekhyun let out a startled gasp, stumbling backwards with arms folded against his chest in a frightened pose. He let out a sigh of relief when he realised who it was.

"Don't do that," he whined as he straightened up, eyeing the taller boy coyly in embarassment. "You startled me."

"Sorry, Princess," Chanyeol said casually as his eyes drifted towards the window. "So, doesn't he lock his window. Okay. But why don't we check the front door? I bet they keep a spare underneath a mat or a flowerpot."

Baekhyun nodded. Just when he was about to follow Chanyeol, he stopped on his tracks.

"Wait."

Chanyeol turned around and raised an eyebrow. "Yes?"

"Why... why are you here?"

The giant shrugged his shoulders and smiled at him mischievously. "I was also planning to break into his house. I brought lobster to tuck into bed beside him. And fish sauce to put in his shampoo."

Baekhyun gaped at him.

"Chanyeol."

"What?"

"I think I love you already."
