(Y/N)'s POV
For a while now, Lillian has been fueling my desire to join the Jury. The voice telling me not to do it only decreased with time, until it was nothing more than a faint whisper. I have found that in time, I have told her pretty much everything I know about this village. Even about Nicole. I met with Lillian that day to tell her I was ready to join the jury. I have gone through too much pain and heartbreak to do anything else. It was time for me to get what I deserved.
"Lillian."
"Yes (Y/N)?"
"I have decided to join the Jury of Nine."
"Really? That's Fantastic! We must take you to get your gear! Okay, tonight, we will meet up here and I will take you to where you will get your new armor and weapon!" I nodded and she ran off. This my chance to finally not get broken. To finally forget about him.
~Timeskip to when she meets up with Lillian~
I waited at the spot where she told me to meet. I wore a dark colored cloak. I saw her come with someone with the same cloak.
"(Y/N), do remove your hood," she said. I took mine off to reveal my face. The other person took off his hood. It was Garroth?
"Garroth?"
"Heh, I guess you weren't the only one ready to forget about everything," he said. We walked for a bit until we reached a more secluded area.
"Wait here," Lillian said.
"Zane, we have our new recruits!" she said. Then, three men came out of the shadows. Two were guards of O'khasis and the man in the middle was someone I didn't recognize.
"Well done, Lillian," the man in the middle said. He turned to me and Garroth.
"Hello big brother," he said with an evil smile. WHAT!?
"Zane..." Oooh! I sense some sibling rivalry!

Ugh, how stupid can you be? I'm your Shadow voice.
How is that possible? I'm not a Shadow Knight.
Well, you know that stuff that was injected in you? That was a little thing I prefer to call Shadow Serum. In time, as you have seen, it will turn you into a Shadow Knight.

Yup! Now you and Laurance are #twinning!

Because he's always in your thoughts. I must say he is a cutie! Let's just say I don't mind when you think of him. What a shame that he loves another, though. Why don't we go kill her?
What! No! I can't do that! I'm trying to get him out of my head and now I have to deal with you.
Good luck trying to get him out. He's pretty much super-glued to your thoughts.

I snap out of my thoughts to hear Zane talking. The two guard hold out two sets of armor. One with the very familiar design of the great Jury of Nine, and the other had a similar look to Garroth's current armor. I get handed the Jury of Nine one. Once my hands make contact with it, the once clear crystal on the chestpiece turned (F/C). After a few minutes of discussion, I went back to the guard tower with my new armor.
~Timeskip to after the meeting in episode 95~
I sat upstairs while the meeting cleared out. I went down the ladder. Just my luck, Laurance was there.
"(Y/N)!" he ran up to me and hugged me.
"Are you okay? Are you feeling any better?"
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"(Y/N), everything in the village has been a total wreck! I miss you."
Aw! Isn't that cute!
Shut up Shadow voice.
"(Y/N), are you okay? You have a new presence that I haven't sensed before."
"Turns out that stuff that was injected in me slowly transformed me into a Shadow Knight."
"What?"
"Yeah..."
"Maybe we could-"
"I have to go."
"(Y/N), please. The village needs you right now. Everything has been a total mess."
"I'm sure you think something wasn't all that bad..." I said with venom dripping from my voice, knowing exactly that not everything was that bad for him.
"(Y/N), I miss hanging out with you."
"I have to go on patrol," I said emotionlessly. I climbed up the ladder and went out the window. I saw Laurance go outside to talk with Lord Aphmau. Just the thought of her name made me sick.
Can we just kill her already? All she wants is to have her little toys in order. Can't you see that she's just gonna play Laurance?
Shut up! Once I get my first assignment from the Jury, maybe I'll forget about him. I have to, right?
No POV
(Y/N) has been becoming darker in her ways as time went on. Both the anger and confusion of what happened between Laurance and Aphmau had been consuming her thoughts, resulting in her not being the once bubbly (Y/N) everyone knew her to be.
