Mark had been sitting at his computer for about an hour now, editing his videos for tomorrow. Ever since three days ago he started having this migranes that just won't go away. Mark rubbed his temples with his fingers and went back to editing. The only time this had ever happened was when Darkiplier was around, that was years ago. Mark started to worry, what if he was coming back? He shook his head and let out a sigh.
"There's no way he's coming back, anyways, if he does I'll get rid of him the same way as before." Mark told himself quietly. Mark had gotten rid of Dark before. He had gotten rid of him by turning him into a joke and made everyone forget about him. That was one of Dark's weaknesses: forgetting him. When Mark finished his videos he quickly uploaded one of them and saved the other for later that day. Mark knew that his migraines would leave eventually but he was still worried that Dark was planning to come back. Mark shrugged away those thoughts and went to the living room where Amy and Chica sat on the couch, watching T.V. He then sat next to Amy and wrapped an arm around her and smiled.
"What;cha watchin'?" Mark asked as he pat Chica on the head, softly. Mark and Amy had been dating for a long time now, his fans knew that but most of them just couldn't let septiplier go.
"Honestly, I don't even know, I was just on my phone." Amy replied, giggling. Mark laughed lightly. There was an uneasy silence. Mark looked at Amy, everything was becoming slightly blurry and weird. Mark squinted and removed his arm from Amy's shoulders. Amy looked at Mark with a concerned look on her face.
"Mark, are you alright?" Amy asked. Chica jumped off of Amy's lap and quickly ran into another room. Mark shook his head yes. To Mark, Amy was starting to look slightly deformed and demonic. Her voice had changed pitch into a deeper tone. Amy stood up and face Mark. He looked at her strangely. Amy's face started to change. Her skin turned into a greyish color, her eyes were all black except for the pupils which were red, she continued to change until she wasn't Amy anymore. It was Dark. Dark stood above Mark with a smirk plastered on his face.
"Now, if you don't mind, I've got to use your useless body to take care of some business with Antiseptic." Dark spoke in a deep, demonic sounding voice.
Then Mark woke up. Mark looked around his bedroom. Amy was laying next to him, hugging him with one arm. Mark got out of bed and stumbled towards the bathroom. When reaching the bathroom he flipped on the lightswitch. He stood in front of the sink and splashed cold water on his face. He let the water dribbled down his face as he looked in the mirror.
"Dark is not coming back, it was just a nightmare. Dark is not coming back it was just a nightmare." Mark whispered to himself over and over. Then the lights started to flicker. He heard a deep laugh in the room. The door was slammed shut. He could hear Amy on the other side of the door getting up to check on Mark. Then the lights stayed on as he looked at the mirror and saw Dark. Black mist started to trail around the edges of the walls on the ceiling. The lights then went out completely. Mark could feel the mist enter his mouth and reach inside of him. He quickly closed his mouth but it was too late. Dark was here. Mark tried to take back control but to no avail. He started to breath heavily as he leaned against the wall. Mark started to cough and hit the walls. Amy could be heard banging on the door, screaming for Mark to come out.
"Mark! Mark! Can you hear me? Mark! Open up!" Amy shouted. Mark fell onto his knees and collapsed on the ground. His eyes became heavier and heavier until his sight was replaced by darkness. When Mark gained consciousness it wasn't Mark, it was Dark. Dark grinned as he heard Amy still. Amy now had the door open. She was staring at Dark with disbelief. She started to recall all the stories Mark had told her about Dark being real but thought he was just being goofy. Now she saw Dark, standing in front of her.
"What have you done with my Mark?" Amy shouted, shaking. Dark chuckled deeply and shook his head. Amy reached quickly into the drawers of the bathroom counter and took out a blade, hoping to be able to cut Dark with this. Mark let a deep chuckle escape his lips.
"Calm down, woman, I'm just borrowing Mark's body for awhile. . . y'know for unfinished business. You'll get your Mark back but for now-" Mark then made Amy disappear into the bathroom sink mirror, rendering her useless. The blade that Amy had in her hand fell onto the cold floor. Amy screamed and banged on the mirror but no one could hear her. Dark then took his fist and busted the mirror, shattering it into a million tiny pieces. Dark looked at his now cut hand and watched the blood drip down on his wrists. He quickly cleaned his wound. When Dark was about to leave he took Amy's blade and disappeared into the shadows of the night.
