More of a filler again but I promise the next chapter is better! Hope you enjoy!

My phone was vibrating. I had my eyes closed still, unaware of all that was going on around me. Where even was I? I couldn't remember. My phone kept buzzing and I just laid there. Eventually I remembered I was home, so I reached over to my nightstand where I guessed my phone was, and brought it to my face.

"Hello?" I said, half awake, not sure if this was real life or part of my dream.

"Tim? Is that you? Did I wake you up?" Why did the voice sound familiar? I forced my eyes open and let them adjust to the dark room before holding my phone in front of my face. It was Niall.

Wait. It was Niall?

"Um, yeah but it's okay," I said rubbing the side of my head, "what time is it?"

I heard Niall's little giggle on the other end before he answered, "It's about quarter to eleven in the evening."

"Shit," I mumbled before propping myself up on my elbows and reaching over to my nightstand lamp to turn it on. "I've been asleep all day."

Niall snickered once again, "I sorta figured. Might have texted you a few too many times. Sorry."

I sat myself up sighing into the phone. My hadn't my mom woken me up? I had school tomorrow unfortunately. I stood up, walked to my door before heading downstairs.

I hadn't realized I hadn't said anything until Niall spoke again, "You still there?"

"Yeah, sorry. I'm tired," I said somewhat laughing at myself.

"Sorry for keeping you up all night last night," Niall replied.

I said the first thing that came to my mind at what Niall had said, "It was amazing spending time with you." That didn't come out how I had wanted it to. Or did it? It sounded more sweet then I expected it to.

There was a pause. My anxiety was sky high.

"I'm so glad I met you. You're an amazing guy," he said after the pause. Was I hearing this right?

"Thanks Niall, that means a lot to me honestly." I must have been crazy at that moment. I needed to stop.

I was in the kitchen before I saw the note on the counter, "Niall I gotta set my phone down for a second. My mom left me a note."

"I'll be here love," he said. I put my phone down and grabbed the note off the counter. I unraveled it and started to read.

"Tim, spending the night at brads. Glad you're home. Make sure you get to school on time. Love you," and she signed it with her name and a heart.

I reached over and grabbed my phone, "I'm back."

I think Niall must have noticed the annoyance in my voice, "Everything alright?"

I sighed before going on, "Just my mom. She's spending the night at her boyfriends house so I'm home alone tonight."

"I'm sorry, that sucks. I'll stay on the phone as long as you'd like. We're on our way to the next town."

I wonder where he was off too. I totally forgot he was on the road touring. I feel like sometimes it would be nice. Getting to get away from everything, from everyone. But then again it also has it's down sides.

"Thanks Niall," I said before remembering what I needed to tell him, "I totally forgot to give you your sweater back before I left."

"Don't worry about it. You can keep it. It looked better on you anyways." Did Niall just give me a compliment?
