THE DEATH:

"Lily! It's him! Go, take Harry and run! I'll hold him off!" James shouted at Lily, pushing her away and running back to face the Dark Lord. He immediately smacked himself when he realized he didn't have his wand. He'd left it on the couch while playing with Harry before You-Know-Poo showed up. James rushed to go get his wand, but it was too late. The door had opened and James saw a shadow.

"Avada Kedavra!"

The last thing James Potter saw was a flash of green light before it all went black.

"Please not Harry! Take me, take me instead!" Lily begged, standing in front of Harry.

"Step aside girly." You-Know-Poo hissed, pointing his wand at Lily.

"Never! Take me, not Harry! Please, I beg you!"

"Step aside girly! I've got a duty to fulfill!" He tried to step around Lily, but Lily didn't let him.

"I'll ask you one last time; step aside!" Voldemort hissed, his wand still pointed at Lily.

"I said take me! Not Harry, please not Harry!" Lily cried, tears running down her face. She moved her body so wherever Voldemort tried to pass her and get to Harry, she'd be a bodyguard.

"Avada Kedavra!"

Lily Evans let out a scream as she fell onto the floor with a thud.

SCENARIOS AFTER THE DEATH:

If you visited the cemetery in Godric's Hollow, you could usually (most of the time), find a black dog sitting on top of two graves. No matter what kind of weather--rain, snow, thunder, sunny-- the black dog will always be there. His steel gray eyes would be closed and for a second you might think that the dog is... crying? You know that most dogs can't cry. You do get interested, so you visit the grave whenever you see the black dog. The dog never notices you. How does this happen? How can a dog cry? You doubt that those graves that the dog is on top of were his owners, because how would he know? Unless that dog was very smart. So then why is the dog crying? How?

~*~*~*~

Sometimes instead of a black dog, it'd be a man in a hoody. He had mouse brown hair and lots of scars, some looking very fresh and others quite old. This man was crying, it looks like he goes through lots of pain. It looks like he'd gone through pain in the past but this time it felt that pain in the past times two. You look at him with tears in your eyes, hour whole body filled with pity for him. Pain is unbearable, especially when it's emotional and not physical.

~*~*~*~

No girls visited the cemetery like the dog and the man. You saw the name of one of the people who died and the dog and the man stare at the grave almost every single day. Her name was Lily Potter. You assumed that either she didn't have much friends, or they were all dead as well. Lily Potter apparently died very young. She was only 21 years old. Would her friends still be alive? Or would they just forget about her death like it was a piece of blank paper on the floor?
