During Advanced Potions class at Hogwarts they all learn about the love potion Amortentia. Slughorn decided that his Potions prodigy, Lily Evans would be sure to help out James Potter, who was only taking Potions because it was mandatory if you wanted to become an Auror. So Lily and James are leaning over a finished cauldron of Amortentia together.
"I can't smell a thing!"-James
"That's impossible. I'm 150% sure I got this right." -Lily
"I'm sorry but obviously you didn't Evans." -James
"Well perhaps I could actually smell something if you hadn't used buckets of conditioner this morning." -Lily
"Now now I wouldn't be the one to talk. The amount of rose perfume you were wearing is giving me an asthma attack." -James
They continue like this for ages and the class is slowly losing their patience.
That is until Lily realized that she'd ran out of the rose perfume a week ago and that James hadn't showered that morning because Sirius was hogging up the bathroom.
