Episode 15: The Battle of Kashyyyk

Episode 15

O3 and the droid marines all made their way through the forest, avoiding land mines and other traps their advanced scanners saw. The group came to a ridge over the courtyard and prepared. "They want us to draw the men out so they can slide through." O3 said.

"Roger Roger." A droid replied.

"We're about to start." O3 said into the com as a droid loaded it's rocket.

"Now!" Jak replied over the com. From the command bridge, a large flash of light emerged and shocked everyone. Talos and Nark saw a rocket hit another part of the large fortress. Everyone looked in horror. Talos looked at Nark.

"You idiots! Move!" Nark shouted.

"Send in the Garrison!" Talos shouted. Nark walked a bit in front of Talos and pulled out his X-8 night sniper.

"I'm gonna go lock down the files vault. Call Shir and Strauf." Nark said sternly before walking out. Talos walked over to a com.

Tez, Jak, Alyss, and Hyt all ran along a ridge as the droids attacked. The four fired tow cables and scaled toward a window. As they did this, O3 pushed the assault. The droids rained fire on the storm troopers who ran out into the court yard. One droid raised its TL-50 and fired a blue burst, frying three storm troopers. Soon Shore Troopers were coming out, and were quick with getting behind cover. O3 popped up from cover and shot a Shore trooper in the head. Another popped up and shot a marine. "O3, we're in. The Rebel and Confederate Fleet will be here in minutes, keep drawing them." Tez said over the com. A Shore trooper ran up behind O3, O3 grabbed the trooper and pulled his armor plate off and punched a hole through his chest.

"We'll hold here." O3 said.

Tez, Alyss, Hyt, and Jak made their way toward the shield generator where two storm troopers stood around. As they made their way through, several squads of imperial battle droids bolted by. The four got clear of them. Once they were gone, Tez raised his com. "O3? You copy?" Tez asked.

"Still here." O3 replied.

"You got a few imperial droids coming in." Tez said.

"I'll contact you if anything goes wrong." O3 said.

"Understood." Tez replied.

"Come on, should take ten minutes to kill their coms. The rebel fleet is seven minutes out." Jak said.

"We don't have much time." Alyss said.

"I'll keep watch, you three go." Jak said. The three rebel spec ops ran off toward the communication tower control room, Alyss had an explosives bag on her back. The two storm troopers aimed at them.

"We're here to make repairs, supposedly the tower is glitchy." Hyt said.

"Drop your weapon." A storm trooper said.

"DL-44s aren't commissioned!" Another shouted. Hyt fired at one, killing the white armored trooper, the other shot Hyt up several times before Alyss and Tez shot him apart. The storm trooper fell over. Hyt was on the ground. Tez looked over at Hyt, shocked.

"Let's go." Alyss said pulling Tez away. The two entered the communications control room, a K series imperial droid operating it. The droid looked at them, Tez blew its head off. The two grabbed charges from the bag and started placing them all over.

Nark and his guards walked toward the data file room when an officer came running toward him. The guards took aim, one grabbed the officer. "Director." The officer said breathing heavily.

"What?" Nark asked.

"Shots fired in the communications tower control room lobby." The officer said. Nark's eyes grew.

"Inform Talos! I want the nearest fleet here." Nark said. The officer stood where he was blankly. "You idiot! We're under attack!" Nark shouted. The officer ran. "Two of you" Nark began as he turned to his men. "go to that lobby and kill everyone you see!" Nark demanded.

Tez and Alyss came running from the lobby. The two were running very fast through the grey room. "Jak!" Tez shouted grabbing the bounty hunter by the shoulder. Jak stumbled forward, a blast flew right by him. Two gold armored storm troopers were running down the hall after them. Jak raised his pistol and fired as he retreated. The three ran, Tez flicked the trigger as the gold troopers were by the lobby. A large ball of fire consumed them.

Talos tried getting a signal to a nearby fleet, and to the fleet above, nothing. He stood angered, an officer walking into the room. "Sir." The officer said to the young director.

"What?" Talos asked.

"The communications tower is burning. No signals." The officer said.

"The rebel fleet is overhead!" Another officer shouted.

"Droid gunships are landing at the beach!" Another officer cried. Paz walked up behind Talos and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Allow me." Paz said. Paz looked over at an officer, who shook when Paz glared at him. "Prepare Tie Strikers, and my squad." The large death trooper said.

"Yes Commander." The officer said. Paz walked out.

Shir and Stauf entered the bridge. Tonn was standing there, he looked at the two. Behind him was the rebel fleet. Ships were zipping by, both rebel and imperial. "I've ordered a storm Commando here to guard the ship." Tonn said.

"Who?" Shir asked.

"SC Lydia." Tonn replied.

"Why not send her to the ground?" Stauf asked.

"This ship can only be taken down from within." Tonn replied. "The rebel fleet's firepower won't penetrate our shields." Tonn said.

"There's two fleets though." Stauf said walking toward Tonn.

"A relic and a poor resistance." Tonn said.

"Rebels." Shir said looking down and walking out.

Kass and his ships all amassed together and were ready to assist the rebel droid ships. Kass pressed his coms button. "This is Yellow Leader, all wings reported in?" Kass asked.

"All wings in." A pilot answered.

"This is Y-Wing Commander Varznin, we're starting our attack run on The Dominator now. Watch out for those powerful towers." The Y-Wing leader, Varznin said. The Y-Wings flew in, Tie Fighters attacking them. The other ships soon caught up.

"A-Wings defend the fleet." Kass ordered.

Rahm, Jace, Orroff, Jeff, and Arenian all stepped out of the shuttle. Jace looked at Jeff and Orroff. "Stay with the ship." Jace said.
