The Sleepover

He smells human, but a human has never smelt so good. I must have zoned because Leon is yelling my name. I snap back and say,"What?" Annie exhales and says,"We thought you would pass out for a second there!" Jullian gives a shy smile and a little wave. I smile and nod,"I'm okay really guys!" The whole day I follow the sweet smell. Annie has been staring at me all day,"Hey what the hell is wrong with you? You look like you have been in a daydream all day," she asked me at lunch. I shake myself out of it and answer her,"Sorry. I just feel dizzy." "Oh no! Not today," she yells and grabs my shoulders. Sometimes I will pass out, it's a Bad Blood thing. I had told them that it's just me not drinking enough water. The day flew by! Lunch was just as entertaining as usual. When we where done eating I handed Leon all my trash and said,"Can you please take your kind to your nice little house over there?" Leon looks at the trash can and sighs. He smiles at me right as Jullian hands him more trash,"It's like a family reunion!" Jullian, Leon and I laugh. Leon smiles a wide smile and says,"Yea sure thing! Just remember that if I'm trash so are you!" Jullian throws his arm over my shoulders and gives Leon a thumbs up with a goofy grin. I laugh and enjoy the moment. Leon begins to walk away just when Annie pipes up,"Hey wait!" Leon turns to look at her. She smiles and asks,"Can you take this too?" Jullian and I howl with laughter as Leon gives a little laugh. Annie says,"Aw come on! It's called 'trash can' not 'trash can't'!" Leon laughs and takes the trash from Annie. I cut the top off of one of the roses now. Jullian told us to cut off all the dead roses. Jullian and I are almost done with everything, Annie and Leon are taking a break. In reality he holds out his hands as Annie covers them in bandages. Jullian cuts the last rose and we walk around the house to find them. Once we have made a full circle around the house Jullian asks,"Where are they?" I shrug and say,"Probably making out somewhere." Jullian looks at me and smiles. Then he shrugs and says,"Probably." We finally find them in the house yelling at each other. We bang on a window to signal that we finished and we are going to my place. They run to the door and we meet them there. As we are walking down the street Leon says,"So next week it's my turn!" Jullian's eyes widen and he looks at Leon. Annie says,"There is supposed to be a full moon so we should go running in the woods to find any werewolves!" I manage a fake laugh to try to not look suspicious. Jullian scratches the back of his head and says,"Sorry guys... my grandparents asked me to help them with something next week. Probably something dumb like making a blanket or something..." Annie says,"No worries! Aysel, Leon and I will just have a party without you!" She purposely, and playfully, shoves her shoulders into him which makes him bump into me. I catch a sniff of the sweet smell. Jullian apologizes and walks a bit faster. Annie looks to the ground and I know that she was trying to flirt. Leon walks up to Jullian and I walk over to Annie. "Nice flirting haha." She turns red and resists,"T-that wasn't flirting! I-I promise I don't like him like that!!" I look at her and she gives me a look that almost shakes me. Maybe I was wrong and she doesn't like Jullian. Or maybe her acting lessons are finally helping her. I giggle and run to the boys. Annie follows a little behind. When we get to my house we all run up to my room. Annie and I sit on my bed while Leon is on the phone with his mom and Jullian is looking at my lunar calendar. Annie asks,"So what is on the movie list tonight?" I smile and say,"Well I picked out a few horror movies!" Leon yells,"WHAT?!" Annie laughs and Jullian jumps out of his skin. Annie laughs so hard that she rolls off the bed and Leon ends the conversation with his mom. Jullian looks at me and says,"I like your room, it smells nice." I look up at him. He smiles at me and Annie claps her hands,"Alright! Let's go start the movie." Leon stutters,"D-do we really have to watch a horror movie?" Jullian gives a hearty laugh and pats Leon on the back,"Come on buddy! I'm sure Annie will protect you!" Annie blushes and so does Leon. He looks at Jullian and says,"W-w-will you protect me?" All of us roar with laughter. Annie and I fly down the stairs. The snacks I set out early this morning are now before the TV. Annie sits to my right and Jullian to my left. Jullian originally sat on the right side of Leon but moved before the first 5 minutes of the movie. Leon is basically on top of Annie. He has his arms around her waist and is laying in the fetal position. Annie is just sitting and watching, Leon clinging to her is normal now. Right as someone gets stabbed Leon screams and Annie covers his eyes. She is a bit closer to Leon then I ever was. They spend more time together then I do with them. But I'm still best friends with them. They are like the sister I wanted and the brother I wish I had. Jullian doesn't even flinch when a man starts to chain saw someone apart. It isn't until when someone puts a spider into his victim's ear that he flinches. He puts his hand down fast and not exactly in the best spot. He was expecting to feel the floor but instead it was my hand. He jumps and screams, which makes Leon scream, and that makes Annie scream. And I sit there laughing. After the movie Leon goes to the bathroom with Jullian as his guard. I crawl over to her and say,"Sorry Jullian didn't sit next to you so you could be scared with him..." she blushes and says,"I already told you I don't like him like that." I punch her shoulder lightly. The boys come back and after hours of whispers and muffled giggles we fall asleep.
