"Leaving Winter-woods? But why?" Tisha asked astonished

"It's what I though is best for you." He whispered

"And what made you think so?" She asked

"Pack your bags, you're leaving and that's final" Ezekiel said in a tone that said  end of conversation, 

Tisha felt betrayed and rejected, the pain of rejection was harsh to her heart, that finally found its true mate. With teary eyes and grieving heart she ran out of the room.

She ran through the hallway to the point she didn't know where she was, there she sat in a corner curling herself into a ball. 

Tisha never thought that the place which she wanted to escape so desperately,  would be the place where she belonged and come to love it. Months ago, when she came here,  all she wanted to do was leave this town and now when she was given the chance she didn't want to leave.....

"Luna? is that you?" Someone from the dark hallways called. Suddenly a dim light, made the hallway a little bit more brighter, so that one could just see other's face.

"Are you fine? Why are you crying?" The person said, The sudden faint warmth beside her told that the person just sat beside her. Tisha just raised her head from her knees and looked at the person sitting besides her, It was Leo

"Yes, Thank you" She said but her voice betrayed her. 

" I heard, about you leaving tomorrow" he said cutting out the awkward silence

"I don't want to go." She confessed.

"He thinks you'll be outside winter-woods, and maybe he's right." Leo said

"How could you say that? I'am safe here, I am happy here, I belong here, with you guys as your Luna" Tisha cried

"It must have been hard for him to tell you to leave you know, now, after all these years that he has waited for you" Leo said looking distant.

"Leo did you know me as Yosaline?" Tisha asked out of the blues, and she didn't even know why, she just felt like asking.........

"As Yosaline? Not quite" He paused, "You were the chosen one, A royalty, and I was a commoner.  All I knew about you was from see you in these royal carriages." He answered with a chuckle 

"I thought to become a second in command you need to be born as a distant royalty" She asked

"Well, I was a different." He chuckles again, "While on the Great war, The old royal castle was burnt into ashes, the only survivors were Martha, Alpha, then Royal Luna, Nancy and some royal guards, who were able to escape at the right time. The next Beta in line was Ezekiel's cousin, he was in the castle when set on fire, he couldn't make it. After the War ended there were no Royalties to substitute his place, so us commoners were put into training of being the next Beta, and I surpassed the others, and became a Beta. " He explained

"So after you, your Son is going to be in line?" Tisha asked, 

"No, After me,  Alphas younger son will become the next beta, and if he only have one son, then commoners will be put to training again" He explained

"If I leave tomorrow, will he mate with someone else?" Tisha asked with paining voice.

"A Royal Alpha would have to mate with another female to provide an heir, in case of absence, death, or barrenness of the Royal Luna. That is what the rule book says" Leo answered

"So he will forget about me, and make someone else the Royal Luna and his mate!" Tisha let ou a soft sniff

"The female partner will never be called the Royal Luna. The title belongs to The Royal Alpha's true mate, that is you. The female will only be the bearer to an Heir." He answered.

"Well I need to go now, I have to go make the rounds and check on the security. Luna, I believe you don't know where you are, so if you would allow me to escort you to your room..."  He said letting Tisha his hand.

As Leo said, he safely escorted Tisha to her room,then wishing her a goodnight  he left.

Tisha, closed the door behind her once Leo have left, and quietly went to her bed. The bed was so cold compared to the warm comfort of Ezekiel's bed. As she laid there staring at the ceiling,  She wondered if this was really her last night in this castle. Tomorrow Ezekiel and she will no longer be under the same roof.

Then her thoughts wondered to what Leo said, about she being replace by some other woman, just for an Heir, then suddenly her thoughts wondered what Ezekiel must be doing right now. Was he already asleep? or was he equally restless like her.

She was in her thought and nearly asleep when loud bangs on her door, made her jolt.

The urgent bangs on her door, made her anxious. She quickly opened the door and saw Nancy. Her body was full of scratches and bruises. She looked horrified, "Tisha.... Tisha" She said with shaky, terrified voice.She kept on looking around the hallway as if someone was following her.

"Nancy, are you okay? What happened?" Tisha asked now scared

"Tisha, take this," She said giving her a folded white paper. "Please protect this, at all cost, I need you to take this to mother, or Ezekiel." She said and was about to run, when she turned back again and said, "Lock your doors Tisha, Tonight is going to be a long night" 

"Nancy! Nancy!" She called but she had already disappeared in the dark.

Tisha stood there not knowing what to do, but then, she tugged the small piece of note, inside her bra and ran to the direction when Nancy disappeared.

Tisha's heart was beating faster than she ever believed it could. She was lost in the dark hallways, when suddenly a murderous Scream made her jump.......

She ran to the direction of the scream, but suddenly she tripped over something. Her legs then felt warm, and sticky..... She touched her legs to feel what it was, when she brought the fingers close to her nose.............It was blood.

She the quickly Touched the think she tripped on, it was warm...... and she was sure that it was a  body, 

Suddenly she heard loud footsteps, in the hallways, 

"Over here!" She shouted

The footsteps were faster now, " Luna, Luna " The people shouted, the lights were suddenly turned on, and Tisha froze seeing the body she was holding.......

The body was beheaded, She was siting on a pool of blood, and most terrifying thing was, the dead body was wearing the same thing Nancy was wearing just a little while ago.............

Then suddenly another scream graced the cold and quiet hallways

"NANCY!!!!!"
