It's been 7 years. Seven years since I've seen him. It's been so long, but I still remember everything.

"You're cute." David reminded.
"And you're a bad liar, ha." I responded playfully.
I never felt this way. He makes me feel all happy. I was at his house just to hang out and talk.
"So how are you and Kelly?" I asked trying not to sound jealous.
"Eh," he responded.
"What do you mean,"Eh," you love Kelly," I wish I didn't say that.
"Well, " David stopped.
"Well what?" I wanted to know what happened.
"I'm not into her anymore. I broke up with her last night. I was gonna tell you, but you were busy with Chase," David explained. He didn't seem so sad to say he broke up. And I know he loved Kelly. I wonder what really happened between them though.
"What do you mean? And I never hang out with him," I added trying to assure David I didn't like anyone.
"Well. I think I'm into someone else," David looked at me while he said it. My heart started to race and my hands were sweating and I wish I could just tell him.
"Oh who?" I tried not to sound so desperate, but I was praying that he would say me. I wanted it to be me so badly. I've liked David for almost 3 years, and we've known each other for 4 years.
"I can't tell you. It's private," David seemed really shy. More than usual.
"Come on David. We've been friends for a long time and we've told each other everything. Why can't you tell me who you like?" I demanded.
"Because it's you."
"What?" I thought he would never say it. I thought he never did.
"Abby, I've like you ever since I met you," David turned so red, but smiled at me. But for a second, I couldn't breathe. I felt like I was in a dream. I couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe him. We were right next to each other, sitting on his bed. We were so close.
So close.
"You've always been there for me and you make me happier than anyone else could possibly make me happy," David was turning more red and his smile faded as if he were being serious about what he was saying.
"David..I-I.." I didn't know exactly what to say.
"Abby, I love everything about you. I love your smile, your laugh, your weird personality ha," David laughed and so did I and I smiled.
"And I love you Abby."
My heart stopped.
" I love you," David said again and looked right into my eyes. I could see him tear up. I wanted to say it back so badly. I loved him too. But I didn't know if I should say it. I couldn't say it. Because he was leaning towards me.
