Wills pov (here we go again)

School was defiantly the last place I wanted to be when Nico was in the hospital.
The doctors made me go to the school because there was nothing I could do. He had surgery that night, because apparently when he was thrown to the floor in the fight a piece of glass stabbed him in the back right of his neck, piercing his throat, and almost hit his vocal cords. He needed surgery to get it removed and stitched up again without making it worse. Nicos hair was getting super long and that probably why I never noticed.

Nico needed three days rest afterwards but wasn't allowed any visitors what so ever.

When I got called down to the office because of a call from the hospital I ran out of my class room faster than lightning not waiting for my teachers approval.
I know I should've waited for Hazel, who was just as scared as me, but my mind was focussed on other things, specifically my loving boyfriend who needed to get surgery.
I got stuck in a few parts of traffic (which may or may not have made me swear like a sailor) but I got through without murdering anyone who crossed in front of me or people who didn't look before walking in front of my car.
Nico was alright.
He would be okay.
It wasn't your fault.
But it was.
I was the one who got us to go for a walk even though it was dark, and I could've made him stay put and held on to him tighter so that the police weren't called and he didn't get hurt in the first place. I was the reason for all of the other times he got hurt as well. The motorcycle crash was caused by me not watching Riley more closely and when he cut it was because he thought I was cheating on him with Katrina because she kissed me.
I was bad luck for him and I knew I always would be.
I loved him more than anyone I have ever dated or kissed or had a fling with, and we have defiantly had the longest relationship I've ever had, even though it had only been around 4 months.

I watched the scenery pass me as I drove, hoards of people, hoards of buildings, hoards of garbage, filling up the city, with the occasional small tree. People wrecked everything. They destroyed the earth, and took things that weren't theirs.
They were thieves, murderers, and home wreckers.
Why there were so many, I don't know, but I wish there weren't.
If I could be alone, in silence for a few seconds at that moment, I could have calmed down, but the sound of cars honking, people shouting and the distant siren of the police made me freak out more.
I couldn't have a panic attack, not while Nico needed me.

I pulled into a parking spot, turned off my car, took a deep breath, inhale, exhale, and made my way to the front doors.

"Where's nicos room?" I asked max, the man at the front desk, who just got a job here a few weeks ago. He was in his 30s probably, and I'm pretty sure he was a father of a 8 year old girl, but his wife died a year ago and he hasn't gotten over it.

"Di angelo?" He responded and once I nodded he told the room number and I ran.
It felt like a slow motion part of a movie.
I ran down halls, trying not to bump into anyone, until I made it to his hallway.
I stopped and stared at the top of it when I saw him leaving his room, listening to a doctor speak, I only saw half of his face, but he looked distressed, as well as confused and tired, with his hair sticking up and bags under his eyes. The doctor was in the middle of talking but I didn't care, I needed to make sure my neeks was ok,

"Nico!" I called out to him. His hair flew wildly as he looked at me and his expression brightened immediately.
I ran towards him, and when I reached him I embraced him with a rib breaking, yet soft hug.
I rested my head on his shoulder and nestled my nose into his hair. He smelled like hospital (or dead people as Nico likes to say) but since he had his clothes from three days ago on again, there was a faint smell of New York.

"Oh my god Nico, I was so scared," I whispered into his hair. I had started to cry with out even trying and tears were steaming down onto his shirt.
