Dany couldn't belive it. They had been dating for 2 years almost. this was absolutly crazy. Out of all the peole who lived in this city, he had to be picked. She fell on the ground with him, holding one another for 30 minutes, trying to escape this horror. Tyler got up, silently, picking up Dany with him. He bent down, kissing her one last time, felling her warm lips on his. Then began to run, not stoping till he was back home. He walked in,  running up to his room, grabbing his necessities, then walking back down the steps. Cameron stood in the foyer looking at the yellow note still, with his bags next to him.

"Nick, and Riley also got a note man., we are all in the same squad together." He muttled to Tyler.

"Get your stuff, put it into the car, then lets get Dad and say goodbye to mom." Tyler said to Cameron.

Cameron stood up, grabbed the bags, and headed towards the garage. Tyler ran back up stairs, motioned to his dad that they were ready to head to the airport. Then running into their room and hugging Anna. They grasped each other, then releasing. She looked at him in the eyes, knowing this could be the last time she could see him. He walked back down the steps, into the garage, and into the passenger seat of the car. Cameron got in a few seconds later, and Craig got in after him. They pulled out of the driveway, and began their quick drive to the airport. Silence filled the car, no one dared say a word. Once at the airport, the men said their goodbyes, shedding a mantear or two. None of them understood why this was happening to them. Cameron and Tyler checked their bags, free of charge because of the yellow note. They walked to the main gates, passing through security, and meeting up with Riley and Nick who were already inside. Boys and men, stood in their circles talking, whispering. Wondering what is going to happen to them after these speedily coming six weeks. 8 A.M took its time coming around. Tyler lay restless on the floor with the other 50 gentlement in the Airport. Thinking. What if he does die? How will he die? Who is oging to die out of these men?

Tyler woke to a loud noise yelling at his year."Tyler wake up! We are about to leave!"Cameron was yelling at him. Camerons black curly short hair, almost a helmet hair cut, was crunched over his Cubs hat that he always wore. It was his good luck charm, it kept him "safe". Tyler lifted himself onto his feet, grabbed his stuff, and got in the back of the long, tedious line. The plane was a Boeing 747, carrying both (now) military and civilian personal. The soon to be warriors sat in 1st class, thanks to the amazing Barack Obama. For a democrat, he knows how to piss of some Afghanistanies. The flight was short, everyone slept calmly, They landed around 11:45 A.M. The sun was bright, and their stomachs empty. The gang grabbed a quick snack at a Panera that was EXTREMELY well placed. Tyler was going to miss this food, they don't really have it in Afghanistan. A bus picked the men up at approximatly 1 that afternoon, so being lazy and eating for an hour was easy.

The bus was hot, and the men were smelly. It took 10 minutes to get to Fort Lee, Virginia. This place looked like a fortress. It is a fortress yes, but this place looks like it would eat one of those fortresses for breakfast. The very second the men stepped off that bus, hell was about to begin. Sergeant Prewitt Hewett, a 15 year veteran, stood 15 feet from the bus entrance. The guys got in a line next to the bus.

"There are no words for what is going on right now," Hewett yelled,"But for you right now, this is going to be hell!"

For the next 6 weeks, Tyler, Cameron, Nick and Riley did the most rediculous things ever. From swimming trials, to running in 3 feet deep worth of mud. This was hell. A new member of the squad was added to their squad, Logan Welker, a 6'5" tall guy, with a buzz cut flat top and a country boy draw, he was a hansome fellow. He was elected to be the squad sniper. He was a dead on marksman at 600+ yards. He could calculate a mans speed, the wind speed, and the distance with a single glance through the scope of the rifle. He perfered to use the SRR-61 Sniper Rifle, but he was usually forced to use the M405A because of cost of bullets. Riley was the Demolitions Expert, C4 was his thing, he could use a bunch of walmart 5 dollar chemicals to make a bomb that could blow up the White House. Cameron was the medic, they gave him enough training to be able to keep a man alive with some alchohol and tweezers. Nick was the radio man, he could tell you the coordinates of a hill he couldn't see. Tyler was elected to be the engineer. He had to fix whatever he was given, and be able to maintain all the equpiment of the unit as a whole. Everyone had a job, without one person, the unit wouldn't function as a whole. EAch man also carried specific weapons depending on the mission. Usually they carried 2 light machine guns, a sniper rifle, 2 assult rifles, and a pistol for every member of the squad. In 6 weeks, Sergeant Hewett changed these 5 regular boys, into warriors.

July 4th, instead of celebrating, the 5 guys were on their way to Afghanistan. 15 hours to basically your death is hard to go through. Tyler just wanted to stand up, jump out of the plane and glide home. They landed in Istambul sometime the next day. They took a smaller plane from Istambul to the Iraqie border. Pakistan and Afghanistan were teaming up against Iraq for domination in Asia Minor. Being stupid Leaders of their governments, they had to declare war on the U.S. with the Iraq. They landed in the middle of the night. A hummer was there ready to pick the men up. Guys were pouring from all the AC-130 transport planes. This is war. The transport vehicles took the men their seperate ways, but Tyler and his squad were heading to Owbeh. A small town that is necessary to be able to transport supplies and vehicles to the front. Tyler and his squad were put to the job of defending this town with their lives. Nothing may take the town, and if they do, destroy it so no one can use it.
