The town was theirs, for the time being. Fortifications were being set up, mines, tripwires, and a sniping post were set up for maximum protection of the town. Logan spent most of his time in the Sniping Tower. But when he wasn't up there, he was flirting with a journalist who was following their unit around writing stories about what was going on. The journalists name was Kate Marie Miller. She was a beautiful brunette with long hair. She was a proud 5'7", and could blow your mine away, with both her mouth and her hand(how perverted are you?). She was an interesting woman, she clearly liked him too. They seemed like a good couple.

4 days later, small attacks would happen. Shots at first, then some light mortar fire, then came the airstrikes. They were weakening our defences. Logan would report seeing scouts driving around the village. Even the scarce UAV would fly over the town. Tyler hadn't heard back from base in 12 hours, they had missed their regular check in, and it was starting to worry Tyler. The bombing became more frequent, and the trucks passing through became less. A day after the last check in. A truck drove up into the town. Cameron approached it and a small, almost midget, man jumped out.

"Where is Captain Pelfrey?"the little man asks.

"He is in the town hall? Why are you asking?" Cameron asked.

"This is the last truck coming through, the Afghanies pushed the front back, and this town is no longer in our control." the little man responded.

"Captain Logan is right this way Mrrrrr????"

"Little, Corpral Ronald Little."

This made Cameron smile. The irony in this mans life was too funny to ignore. The two men walked down the center of town, and into the town Synagogue. They were having service at the moment, so they slipped  around the cizilians and into the back room where Tyler was looking at maps, and planning defences with Nick.

"What is going on? Who is this Cam?", Tyler questioned egearly.

"This is Corpral Ronald Little, he has brought us unexpecting news that we are now on our own. The troops were pushed back a couple miles yesterday." Cameron replied.

"I can't belive it! They radiod in a few minutes ago saying that we won't be getting any arial support but that is about it! We haven''t even gotten our last shipment of supplies!". by this time Tyler was yelling!

"I brought the last shipment of supplies for ya'll, but i got to take a bunch of food to a hospital down the road. Sorry but i have to be leaving ASAP." Ronald squeeked, being alot quieter than Tyler was.

"Welp, we need to have the guys on higher guard, no one leaves or enters the town once Ronald leaves. Go tell the others Nick, no wonder they have been watching us." Tyler had to sit down for a second. They had little to no chance if the Afghanies sent a strong force. With any armour and infantry, they could easily take the town. 6 guys could maybe defend against a small group of Afghanies, one tank would end them all.

Logan now stayed up in his tower about 24/7 now adays. The weather patterns were changing. It was early October now. More UAV's would fly over, and the occasional scout was more frequent. Logan had begin pot shooting at the guy who would drive around the town. It only had 15 or so building, so from a high angle, he could hit about anyone entering or near it. The other guys would take 12 hour shifts patrolling the town. Cameron and Nick would go in the day, and Sam and Riley in the night. Tyler stayed on the radio argueing with Command about supplies. When he wasn't on the radio, he attempted to build sand baracades wherever they were needed. They looked snazy at first glance, but Sam would joke about how it couldn't stop a .22 rifle from 50 yards. He had crude humor, but he didn't pick a fight he couldn't win.

Days turned into weeks. One day, Logan actually hit the scout. He shot him through the door of his car and hit him in the waist. Cameron and Nick who were on duty stripped the man from his car and brought him into the back room of the sygagogue. Tyler spent all day interrogaiting him, until he died of loss of blood. Tyler had figured out that the Afghanies had pushed the Allies further back, and had also taken Turkey and Iraq completely. Russia had joined the Afghanies in the fight. They were planning on sending a huge force to take Saudi Arabia, Omam, and Yemen. The main force was going to pass straight through this town, and take the highway to Saudi Arabia. They didn't know what to expect. Helicopters, planes, tanks, mortar fire. They could go the whole 9 yards and just easily storm the place. Logan was manipulating the FMG-148 Javilin so it would lock on to electronic devices after firing. Instead of being fired and man guided, he could fire and reload without worrying about the rocket. Cameron had set up a medical facility in a small hovel in the town. Sam, Riley, and Nick were laying anti-personal and tank mines all around the town. 4 scouts were spotted, but Logan wasn't shooting now. A supply truck hadn't came in about 2 weeks, and bullets were like diamonds now.

Riley was a religious man. He had started a Chatholic Church right next to the medical hovel. There was a small group of people who went. Half the squad would go one week while the others kept watch. This town was growing on the squad. But so was Kate Marie on Logan. They were officially dating for 2 months now, and since she couldn't leave the town. She spent all her time up in the snipers nest with him. Command wasn't taking anymore calls from Tyler now, he kept on asking for more supplies, but no response would come. Tyler couldnt even warn them about the massive attack that was coming. The villagers would do what they could, but food was slowly depleting. They were having a dry spell, and it was scaring the priest and Tyler.

Late September, Logan was sitting up in his little nest, reclining with Kate under his arm. They were laughing about how they would never get out of this place alive. Tyler was sleeping in the back room after finally connecting with command, and arguing all night. Sam and Riley were about to switch with Cameron and Nick in watch. When a slow rumble began. The earth shook, and a massive dust cloud rose in the back ground. Logan stood in his spot, looking through his binoculars, and saw their worst nightmare. 2 Tanks, and 3 transport vehicles were rushing up to the town. And just to make things worse, a Mil-Mi 24 Attack Helicopter rose from the smoke and took the lead of the force. Creating a diamond pattern from hell. Logan climbed down form his perch, woke up Cameron and Nick, and stormed into the back room.

"They are coming sir!!!!" He yelled to Tyler before running back to his perch and preparing his weapons.

Sam and Riley stood prepared at the East entrance of the town, standing adjacent from one another with Sticky C4 on them. Their job was to take out the Tanks as soon as they entered the city. Then use their heavy machineguns to hose down any enemy soldiers that bothered jumping out of their trucks. Logan was waiting for the helicopter to get into range. He had 3 shots to take it down. Or else this whole town would be destroyed from its menacing power. Tyler stood at the entrance of the Synagogue with a M16, all the civilian were inside so he had to protect them. Nick was guarding the West entrance into the town incase anyone got a smart idea to flank them. And Cameron was preparing the Medical Hovel for the garenteed wounded. This was the guys first time actually being in combat. It was scary, and remembering their training seemed hard. But not one of them, didnt think their life wasn't worth living.
